Book Reviews of Love at First Bite

I have to say I really did not like this book. I got it for Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series and I don't know, It just flet like too little, too fast... not enough story to read and it was over way too fat. I didn't read the other stories.

I loved every story! It was worth every minute. Each story was nice and different. Each author had a nice way to telling their story that made you want to find out how each was going to end. It was just wonderful! Especially "The Forgotten one". It was not a mushy romance book of stories. Each had flair and excitement, laughter and sadness.

For a DH story, I have to admit it wasn't as great as her full length, I think maybe I am just a bit spoiled when it comes to her DH series - some stories just need more room so that they can grow like they need to - I felt the story was crammed into the allotted pages and wasn't allowed to tell the whole story - I still recommend reading it, if your a DH fan it is after all a DH story and a good read, but it just needed its own book I felt. I didn't read the other stories in the book I got it only for the Sherrilyn Kenyon story only.

I read the first two stories, didn't really care for them, and am not interested in reading the last two stories. I'm moving and I'd rather get this moving instead of packing it in the hopes that someday I'll finish it.

I rilly love Ronda Thompson,Susan Squires, but the others was a little to rushed and nedded a lot more detell.

I liked the fact that each tory gives you a background to the characters in the series each author has written. I liked story 1 2 and 4

I enjoyed Sherrilyn Kenyons and Ronda Thompsons stories but not the others.

Four Novellas of Otherworldly Desire.

Not one of the best anthologies I've ever read. But still worth reading if you are a Kenyon fan.

I didn't particularly like the story by L A Banks. But that could be that I am not familiar with her series.

FOUR stories. 1) A Dark-Hunter novel with events beginning at the time of Vlad Dracul. 2)One of the Vampire Huntress series by L.A. Banks. Tells the story of Jose's and Juanita's beginnings as Guardians of the Neturu. 3)By Susan Squires, one of The Companion series which continues the fight against the vampire army created by the now destroyed Asharti. 4) By Rhonda Thompson, one of the Wulf's of London series, this is the story of the lost half-brother to the powerful family Wulf...shapeshifters whose only hope of freedom is love.

Really enjoyed the story by Kenyon. Very nice mix of authors. Enjoy!

I wanted the book for Kennyon, and was not disappointed. I enjoyed the stories by Squire and Thompson. The one by Banks, I almost skipped, but realized I only had a few pages left.... But the other three stories were great!

Steamy, quick reads by 4 great authors. This is a great one for a weekend read!

Short stories for quick reads.

Great short stories! I got this book for the Kenyon and Thompson stories that go along with books from their series (Kenyon - Dark Hunter and Thompson - the Wild Wulf's of London). These two stories are definitely great additions that give you more insight to those series! The Squires story was okay - I find that her stories are readable and enjoyable, but I don't seek out her stuff actively. I only read her when she is a part of something like this. Banks on the other hand - I just don't like her writing or her stories - she rubs me the wrong way for some reason that I have yet to figure out. So if for nothing else - I recommend this one for the first two writers.

Glad I got this one at the library. The title sounded good and the authors are okay, but hard to develop character and include so many changes in a short story while developing plot and emotional relationship. Many of the plots are heavy on action, but the attraction/relationship is hurried or stale. Many of the stories are characters from series by the authors - you may enjoy them more if you recognize the secondary characters, or just adds more distraction/less space for the current story.

The book is only OK. Kenyon and Thompson were enjoyable, and I would read Squires books but Banks just turned me off anything else by her. Loved Thompsons Wulf of London Series and her story ties right in with it.

Romance novel with the supernatural as a theme - specifically vampires.

It was okay. Could have been better.

Best was Ronda Thompson's story. I love her Wulf brothers series. I was surprised that SK's story wasn't that interesting cause I love DH's! I didn't read the other authors because I'm not a fan of either author.

four short stories delightful at first then the other three are a tougher thing to read need to take your time to really absorb atmosphere.

The cover is different. I really enjoyed the L. A. Banks story the most.

If you like gothic romance with supernatural overtones, these 4 novellas are a must read, I enjoyed them.

Mine has a different cover. Bought it for the Sherrilyn Kenyon story. But loved all of them.
