Heroine tries to assert her independence from overbearing father. Hero supports her while trying to protect her from drug lord, Long-standing mutual attraction finally comes to a head (pun intended) Lots & lots of sex. A twist in the plot - by golly, I liked it! Check your brain at the door & enjoy it for what it is - a good, summer beach read.

HOT!! Lora Leigh gets right down to it without leaving you wanting. Not for the faint of heart because she is very graphic but oh so very good. I really enjoy her books. She keeps you on edge in more than one way.

These just get better & better. This is Kell's story. He is tormented by an awful past but Emily, the girl he saved from Fuentes, is the 1 bright light in his life. He's wanted her for years & she's wanted him too. Now that there is another threat to her life he steps in to protect her but who will protect his heart. Lots of action & we get to read about old characters as well. Looking forward to Ian's story next. Enjoy!

I couldn't believe the amount of sex in this book! But I agree with Pam K. - by golly! I liked it! The sex scenes were very graphic, but well-written. The sexy alpha-male Kell and his obsession, Emily - their romance and passion was hot! An interesting crime/drug lord mystery, with a twist! It was for me an enjoyable beach read. I just might even read another one of Lora Leigh's books.

Wowee! This book is hot hot hot! The hero is a Navy SEAL, Cajun, rides a Harley, is a definite Alpha male...what's not to love?!

I never thought I would be saying this, but this book had way too many sex scenes. It slowed down the plot. The scenes were sensual and well written, but they lost their appeal after a while( the point of diminishing returns)!
It semed like after every major plot advancement, the couple Kell and Emily jumped in the sack! Otherwise, it's a good suspense novel worth reading.

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't realize that it took off where her other book ended. Can't wait to read the next episode.

Tough as nails Navy Seal Kell Kreiger is the best there is at searching, rescuing and taking no prisoners...yet even the rush of ever more dangerous missions isn't enough to satisfy him. Haunted by a tortured past, Kell seeks distraction in a secret world of dark intimacies. But when Emily Stanton, the one ray of light in Kell's shadowy existence, is pursued by a ruthless drug lord, the rules of the game suddenly change!

Kell & Emily r so sweet. Kell loves her SO much n can't help but make her feel sexy. Emily is a sweetheart, who just reflects how Kell makes her feel. These 2 r SEXY! its starts off sexy as hell. one of my fave scenes ever. n continues 2 just suck u in. Plus Kell is cajun, n that accent is wonderfully hot. as well as the other SEAL bk, the action, suspense, n sex just suck u in. Loved this one! KEEPER!!

This is the first Lora Leigh book I had ever read. If you like military men, series romance, good hot grinding sex, this is your girl. Made me a rabid fan and went crazy to buy all her books. It is not paranormal as her "Breeds" series. I like books that are based in reality. Her Nauti series is also a favorite--although the OPS series is not as hard core sex as the Nauti series. Just buy it. Better yet, read the whole series.

This book was OK. I liked Maverick better, overall not a bad book though.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I liked this book as a whole. The storyline and plot are interesting, as are the characters. A hard body SEAL with an accent that just makes you melt. His secret obsession Emily is strong and sassy, if a little strange. The only problem I have with this book is the ridiculous amount of sex scenes. Though every good romance novel has them & these are well written. Leigh could have filled a short story just with the sex. Some of it was misplaced and not believable. On page 25, Emily a 25 year old virgin, for no apparent reason chooses to do a lap dance at a local strip club for what she thinks is a stranger. The stranger turns out to be Kell, her own secret obsession, and though she doesn't realize it's him... she orgasms in his face though there was no touching and no licking going on. Are you kidding me??? Don't we all wish we could orgasm every time the wind blows? I had to force myself to keep reading after that, but glad I did. Can't wait to read Ian and Nathan's story. She did a good job weaving all the characters from previous & future books in and I like the way the story is unfolding.

The story was difficult to follow and not very interesting. I will stick to her Breed series.
