Stephanie Plum is one crazy lady. This series will make you laugh and cry. Once you begin reading this series you will NEVER want to stop. I got my mom and all her friends reading the series. Evanovich really incorporates all the important elements in her writing. So be ready to fall in love with Stephanie and friends, its definately worth it.

Evanovich has done it again....this one is full of the same wit and grit as the previous 3......can't wait to read #5.

As usual a host of Wacky Characters, this book adds Sally Sweet, a disfunctional lot but all very enjoyable. The villians in her story usually end up being sort of creepy and this one is no different in my opinion. For me the Stephanie Plum novels never seem to drag they're always on the move.

Hilarious! I don't know how Evanovich thinks up this stuff. If you have read the first three books in this series, you know that Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter. This time she has the "help" of her 73-year-old grandmother, an ex-hooker named Lula, and a transvestite musician named Sally Sweet, all toting guns. Then there's the cop Joe Morelli. With all the mishaps, including murders, firebombs, and her rival bounty hunter chasing the same fugitive, Stephanie had better watch her back.

Janet Evanovich never seems to disappoint. Another week or two in the chaotic life of Stephanie Plum. As usual, Stephanie attracts trouble and hottie Joe Morelli. If you've been waiting to see more of hottie Morelli, this is your chance. I love the characterizations in this book, from ex-hooker Lula to crazy Grandma Mazur. Great beach/pool read!

I cannot not get enough of Stephanie Plum and her funny Italian family. I laugh outloud in everyone of her stories. Janet E. wraps quirky, funny, suspense, drama and family eccentrics is her Stephani Plum stories. I love her way of combining humor with everyday life and the downfalls and strange situations that occur with being a female bounty hunter.

You gotta love this character and the series. Love to read what new adventure awaits Stephanie with each new book. Some madcap, lots of mystery, poor woman barely scraping together enough money to live on, has a colorful cast of characters popping up in every book. Not for real serious, fun light reading.

"Four to Score" is fast-paced and funny. In this book, Stephanie is trying to collar a waitress who jumped bail after she was arrested for stealing her boyfriend's car. Sounds simple? Not in Stephanie's world! She finds herself in all kinds of trouble, and without a car and a home because of fallout from this case. But in true Stephanie form, she seems to come out on top. She meets a new friend - a six foot four inch drag queen called Sally Sweet and she actually takes her so-called relationship with Morelli to another level. Enjoyable read

It's a good one! Evanovich is enlarging her cast of characters. Now we have Sally Sweet, a hilarious (and very manly) cross-dressing member of a rock band, and Joyce Barnhardt, who was introduced in earlier books as having been caught by Stephanie in flagrante delicto with her then husband, and who is now working for the same bail bondsman. Joyce is determined to beat Stephanie at her own game, and keeps turning up at the worst possible moments. And the old favorites, such as Lula the ex-hooker, Grandma Mazur and Ranger are all here.

As in earlier books, Stephanie is being hounded by maniac; this time a jealous molotov cocktail hurling love-rival. And, with her apartment gutted by fire from one attack, she's forced to stay with love-interest Joe Morelli, making for some serious sexual tension.

A special mention must be made of an outstandingly funny "undercover operation" in an Atlantic City casino.

Despite the hilarity, there's also a pretty good whodunnit that'll keep you guessing.

I love her books, each one takes you on a new twist and a turn with lots humor along the way. Light reading sure to lift your spirits! You read one you want to read another. Stephanie Plum's life is a hoot as a bounty hunter, along with her crazy Grandmother and her friend Lula. She has two love interest along the way as well. A little hot and steamy never hurt anyone, righttttttt!! lol

Several laugh out loud moments in this one. Stephanie is after Maxine, a FTA that seems minor and easy to take down. Of course, it's never that easy. There's a counterfeit money story line and all of Joe's family thinks Stephanie is pregnant and going to marry Morelli. Quite funny! Lula and Grandma Mazur have good roles and I liked Sally the cross dresser and the Sugar subplot. Good stuff.

Stephanie Plum, the trash-talking New Jersey bail bondswoman of this popular series, is tracking Maxine Nowicki, who's wanted for skipping out on a car-theft charge lodged by her ex-boyfriend. Now the ex-boyfriend's very interested in getting back the love letters he supposedly wrote to Maxine. But what he's really looking for is the secret on which Evanovich hangs her screwball cast of colorful minor characters, including Sally Sweet, a cross-dressing drag queen; Lula, the 250-pound ex-hooker who works for Steph's boss; Cousin Vinnie, the bail bondsman; Grandma Mazur, who packs a Glock and is always looking for a little action; and Joyce, a wannabe bounty hunter who's been cramping Steph's style since she played pass the salami with Steph's ex-husband. The action doesn't get much farther from Trenton than the Jersey Shore, but when Steph's apartment and car are blown up by the others on Maxine's trail and she moves in with Joe Morelli, the handsome, arrogant cop she's been hung up on since high school, it gets hotter than the craps table in Atlantic City.

This is Book 4 of the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich. I've read everything that she's ever written. You either love this style of writing or don't. It's got to be a "Chick Series" as the main character is a woman. She's a bounty-hunter but would rather be doing anything else. She's lousy at her job but always manages to solve the mystery and get her man. Delightful and fun to read.

Another enthralling and hysterical read! I'm finding them harder and harder to put down once I pick them up!

Another fun romp through Stephanie Plum's world. I liked "Three" better, but this one was good too.

Stephanie Plum, Trenton, New Jersey's favorite pistol-packing, condom-carrying bounty hunter, is back -- and on the trail of a revenge seeking waitress who's skipped bail. With the help of 73 year old Grandma Mazur, ex-hooker Lula, a transvestite musician named Sally Sweet, and the all-too-hospitable, all-too-sexy Joe Morelli, Stephanie might just catch her woman. Then again, with more mishaps than there are exits on the Jersey Turnpike -- including murders, firebombs, and Stephanie's arch rival bounty hunter chasing after the same fugitive -- Stephanie better watch her back big-time if she wants to live to crack this case.

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is out to bring back bail jumper Maxine Nowicki. At first it seems like a relatively simple job: Maxine merely stole her ex-boyfriend's car after a silly domestic spat, so nobody expected her to jump bail over such a misdemeanor. The first stop on Stephanie's hunt is the home of Eddie Kuntz, Maxine's no-neck womanizing boyfriend, who at first wants to fool around with Stephanie and then later decides to hire her. He's hoping to track down some "potentially embarrassing" love letters that he claims Maxine stole from him, and although Stephanie realizes there's something a lot more ugly going on, she agrees to take the side job for Kuntz. She needs the money.

Maxine leaves behind clues in the form of letteredcodesthat grow increasingly more difficult. In her desperation, Stephanie turns to an elderly neighbor's nephew, Sally Sweet, a transvestite who not only gets a kick out of joining the bounty hunter in this game but seems quite naturally adept at the job. Adding to Stephanie's woes is her longtime rival, Joyce Barnhardt, who just joined the same bail-bonds firm and does little besides trail Stephanie around town in order to claim the payoff by bringing in Maxine. However, soon the plot begins to turn deadly as friends and family of Maxine are tortured and murdered, possibly by Eddie Kuntz, or someone else looking for the embarrassing "love letters."

Evanovich makes the most use out of an eccentric and varied cast of wildly off-center secondary characters. Stephanie must not only deal with her own Grandma Mazur, who totes a long-barreled .45, but she must also keep her sometimes partner Lula, the 200-pound black ex-hooker always ready with a stun-gun, in check. One of the funniest, standout comedy-of-errors scenes occurs when this outlandish crew heads down to Atlantic City looking for Maxine in a casino. After they spot their target, the place erupts into instant bedlam, with Grandma hopping up onto a blackjack table, Sally pulling a glock out of his garter, and Lula ready to shoot the place up on a moment's notice — all this as Stephanie cries, "No guns! No guns!" She certainly has her hands full throughout this misadventure.
