Another great Stephanie Plum mystery. In this one, Ranger is implicated in a murder, and Stephanie can't help but try to help. Be sure to read this series in order, though. The characters and plotlines develop in progression through each one.

Once again Stephanie Plum is in deep, and she just keeps getting deeper..and funnier! I always think there's no way she can top herself, but Janet Evanovich just keeps getting better. It's like reading the Key Stone Cops, but with hot guys and crazed madmen, dogs named Bob and gun toting grandmothers and ex-hookers!
Ranger is missing, and some bad guys want Stephanie to bring him in, which she is not about to do. She spends her time trying to catch bail jumpers, destroying even more cars and getting herself set on fire.
Another hysterical read, I finished it in one day, and am ready for more hilarity in Stephanie's next adventure.

Sassy, cute, typical Evanovich. Stephanie has to figure out how to juggle her love life, her hunt for Ranger and solve her case all at the same time. Throw in a not-so-typical grandma and you've got a great read.

This Stephanie Plum mystery/romp introduces Bob the Dog, and only one of the destroyed cars is Stephanie's. Grandma Mazur moves in, moves out, gets her driver's license, and the Romulans start a food fight.

It seems as if only every other book in this series capture my attention. But at least we do know who was knocking on Stephanie's door.
In this sixth outing, Stephanie is hot on the trail of a guy that killed his wife and has a general dislike for all woman; and since Stephanie does seem to be of the girl variety, this makes for quite an interesting adventure. If only Ranger was available, but unfortunately Ranger has a couple problems of his own. Most importantly, Ranger has skipped on his own bail and now has two amateurs looking for him in addition to the infamous Joyce.
This comedy of errors only intensifies when Grandma Mazur decides to move in with Stephanie and Ranger makes a surprise visit.

Stephanie Plum and Lula are at it again, and do not disappoint. They are sexy, funny and always in trouble. A really good funny book.
funny, easy reading, always left wanting the next book from Janet Evanovich
These books have been so fun to read. Stephanie gets herself into unbelievably awful situations, but of course always manages to shimmy away unscathed.
Hot guys, adventures, & laughs. I love this books series.
another funny book in the series. it wasn't as laugh out loud funny as the others, but i still laughed some. stephanie opens her door to find grandma moving in. she tries to tell herself that it won't be so bad, but it ruins everything.

This is one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. I could barely put it down! Loved it!
Janet Evanovich's series with Stephanie Plum just keeps getting more and more hilarious! Ms. Evanovich has the ability to draw characters like few other suspense thriller writers. It is refreshing that they aren't perfect and they don't leap over tall buildings in a single bound, but instead they find themselves in ridiculous situations that bring them the humanity that is so usually missing in suspense novels. There are none of the perfect chiseled characters who are wise beyond belief. But instead, we get Plum, her granny, her cousin Vinnie and failed attempts that make for great reading escapes and enjoyable entertainment.
Another awesome Plum book by Janet Evanovich. She never fails!

Another great Stephanie Plum story!! Onto reading 7!
Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is faced with her most daunting task yet: bring in the mysterious former Special Forces agent Carlos Manoso (aka Ranger). He's the man who taught her everything about fugitive apprehension, and Stephanie knows she will be testing her skills against the master. But if she does catch him, she's not so sure she could turn in her friend--even if he's wanted for murder....
And if this isn't enough to keep her up at night, Grandma Mazur is crimping her sex life by moving in with her and keeping her from getting any action from her cop boyfriend, Joe Mmorelli. Now, with her love life messing with her head, two threatening goons on her tail, and three corpses-so far-it's getting a little too hot for Stephanie, whose search for Ranger is bringing her dangerously close to the wrong side of the law...
Very funny I cought myself laughing out loud on the bus,in the Dr. Office, and while my husband was sleeping. A Masterpiece has it all
story,fun characters,romance,and drama.

I am a huge fan of Janet Evanovich, and I particularly love her Stephanie Plum series, of which this book is one. Hot Six is probably my favorite of the eleven books (so far) in the series.
I am very impressed at how Janet Evanovich is able to give her characters new plot lines with each new book in the series. Stephanie is at it again & things just keep getting hotter & hotter with Ranger & Moreli, even with Grandma Mauzer moving in & busting up her sex life, a garbage disposal disguised as Bob the Dog, and a mob boss using her vehical as a means of escaping his arm dealing son. Just the typical day in Jersy. Crack open a beer & get ready for some action!
Ms. Evanovich is a superb writer. If you want to take a ride with Stephanie Plum, Jersey bounty hunter, read any book in the series. You'll be in Jersey right quick. What a hoot.
Love it! Love it! Love it! The keep getting funnier and more outrageous with each new novel!

This time out, Stephanie has one of the meanest skips she's ever tried to bring in, a brutal bully who killed his wife. His intense hatred for women easily extends to Stephanie, who barely escapes with her life several times. Her survival is dependent in part on help from Lula, that larger-than-life ex-prostitute turned file clerk, who, as usual, is carrying a mini-arsenal she's all too eager to use. Stephanie's job is made twice as hard by the fact that her usual backup from Ranger isn't there. In fact, Ranger is the leading suspect in a murder case and has skipped bail. Knowing Ranger won't be found if he doesn't want to be, Stephanie lets her nemesis, Joyce Barnhardt, take the case.
It turns out that Stephanie doesn't need to find Ranger; he finds her. And this honor earns Stephanie two determined tails who follow her everywhere she goes: Joyce Barnhardt, and two henchmen named Mitchell and Habib who are working for some unknown boss. At first Mitchell and Habib seem to be a pair of bumbling fools who are more annoying than anything. But before this case is solved, they will demonstrate their true acumen in a very frightening way.
Just when Stephanie thinks her life can't get any worse, she finds herself with an unexpected roommate: Grandma Mazur, who has moved in on the heels of a major disagreement with Stephanie's father. About the same time, Stephanie asks for a favor from one of the detectives on the police force, and in exchange he asks her to watch his dog while he's out of town. The only problem is, he never goes out of town. Nor does he return for the dog. So on top of Grandma Mazur, Stephanie now has yet another roommate: a large, smelly dog named Bob with a penchant for chewing everything in sight and howling like a banshee whenever he's left alone.
Between bringing in her own skips, trying hard to keep Joyce away from hers, doing some side work at Ranger's request, and bumping into Morelli (though never in the way either of them is hoping for), Stephanie's life couldn't get much more bizarre. Or could it? There's still this ongoing confusion between the men in her life, both of whom are vying for her company and attention. And of course, there are the requisite fires, explosions, and sundry vehicles that suffer inexplicable damage -- except for the monstrous old powder-blue Buick, which seems to be indestructible. But even the Buick may come to suffer if Grandma Mazur succeeds in her quest to get a driver's license and hit (perhaps literally) the road.
