Book Reviews of Full Speed (Max Holt, Bk 3)

Okay caper novel about a feisty lady reporter, a sleazy evangelist, an incompetent mobster, and an uber-rich, uber-sexy boyfriend. Entertaining but not memorable.

These "Full" books by Janet are cute - something fast and fun to read while you're waiting for the next Stephanie Plum to be released. When you're looking for some good giggles, these are the best!

even janets early years are good, some more then others. When she puts max and jamie together, that are so different, things really get heated. I like her books because she just a hint of SEX and a lot of mystery, which is the way it should be. Keep writing Janet.

Nice read, moves fast. I like this kind of book, does not hurt my tired brain.

Really enjoyed this book! I love "Muffin"! The characters in this seriers just keep getting better. I'm readingthe next one now. I hate to put them down.

Full Speed – Janet Evanovich

Jamie Swift, owns a small town newspaper and is always on the lookout for the next big story. Max Holt, the devilishly handsome tycoon chases trouble and works hard to keep Jamie out if it.

Max is on the case of a minister gone bad, mobster and a circus of comedy, edge of the set drama and a great who done it mystery. You will fall in love with the characters, laugh at their antics and hold your breath as they attempt to get out of trouble, hoping for the best in the end. This was a great read, fast and funny, full of page turning twist and turns to keep you guessing right up until the very end. Grab this book and have a great ride at Full Speed ahead.

I loved this book, but then all of Evanovich's books are great.

Light and funny, quick read-part of the "full series"

#2 in the series. A thrilling story of mobsters, a two-million-dollar talking car, and the Max-and-Jamie duo hunting down the bad guys.

Very good Evanovich book!

I'm hooked on the Stephanie Plum series, and this isn't nearly as good. Found a couple of things that just seemed impossible and were not explained. I won't be reading any more of this series. I couldn't feel any empathy for the characters.

Another GREAT by Janet!!!

This series with Jamie Swift and Max Holt reminds me of the Stephanie Plum series. This is a quick read, if you don't get hung up on the steamy parts.

This is just a fun book to read as are all of Janet Evanovich books are.

Book 3 in the "Full" series, the main characters find themselves cracking open a smalltown "Peyton Place," but use the information for their own benefit - not to hurt others. Still a funny, easy-read book!

I liked this one better than the first and second in this series, I am reading the third "full blast" now, if you like the plum series you will like this series as well.

Janet Evanovich's books are quick reads and you get hooked with the first few pages. I have a 45 min. commute to work and 45 min back so reading paperbooks are great!

What can you say. Janet Evanovich is one of the best authors there is out there. All of her books are spectacular.

Good series if looking for something like the Plum series. As always, Evanovich uses great wit and humor.

I was told that the Full Series wasn't quite as good as the Plum series, and I didn't find that to be the case at all. I'm flying through these books just as I had the Plum series and am looking forward to reading more!

This series is really fun, but not really comparable to her Stephanie Plum series. Still, I would recommend it for fans of Evanovich.
