Okay caper novel about a feisty lady reporter, a sleazy evangelist, an incompetent mobster, and an uber-rich, uber-sexy boyfriend. Entertaining but not memorable.

These "Full" books by Janet are cute - something fast and fun to read while you're waiting for the next Stephanie Plum to be released. When you're looking for some good giggles, these are the best!

Sandy C. (elvis9s) reviewed on 10/30/2009...

even janets early years are good, some more then others. When she puts max and jamie together, that are so different, things really get heated. I like her books because she just a hint of SEX and a lot of mystery, which is the way it should be. Keep writing Janet.

Trouble finds Jamie Swift like a magnet and Max Holt knows it all.
Mobsters, corruption, murder, a germaphobe, and a hound dog named Fleas.
Have fun with Full Speed.

Full Speed – Janet Evanovich

Jamie Swift, owns a small town newspaper and is always on the lookout for the next big story. Max Holt, the devilishly handsome tycoon chases trouble and works hard to keep Jamie out if it.

Max is on the case of a minister gone bad, mobster and a circus of comedy, edge of the set drama and a great who done it mystery. You will fall in love with the characters, laugh at their antics and hold your breath as they attempt to get out of trouble, hoping for the best in the end. This was a great read, fast and funny, full of page turning twist and turns to keep you guessing right up until the very end. Grab this book and have a great ride at Full Speed ahead.

In this Evanovich, book,(while this is part of the Full Series
each book is great and fun to read, romantic, sexy & a mystery all in one). In this book, Jamie Swift & Max Holt, have intense chemistry, even though they drive each other crazy. Max thinks Jamie is a magnet for trougle and Jamie thinks Max is the most annoyingly sexy, mysterious man she's ever met. She know she should stay away from him, bu boy, do the sparks fly when they get together. Jamie a newspaper owneer from a small Southern town, and in full speed, she's after the story of a lifetime. Max Holt is right in the middle of that story, and so Jamie tracks down the millionaire playboy, forcing him to take her on as a partner. What follows is a story of a corrupt minister, a gang of mobsters on the loose, a hound dog called Fleas, a wise cracking computer genius and lots of love in the fast lane. Not to mention plenty of steamy action between Jamie & Max.

Dear Reader,Welcome to the world of Jamie Swift and Max Holt! My good friend Charlotte Hughes and I have teamed up to create a series of books featuring these two characters and they've taken on a life of their own! These books are not set in the same world as my Stephanie Plum novels, but what they have in common is lovable, dysfunctional characters, villains you love to hate, and a cross-eyed way of looking at life. Jamie and Max have intense chemistry-even though they drive each other crazy. Max thinks Jamie is a magnet for trouble and Jamie thinks Max is the most annoyingly sexy, mysterious man she's ever met. She knows she should stay away from him. But boy, oh boy, do the sparks fly when they get together. Jamie is a newspaper owner from a small southern town. Not to mention plenty of steamy action between Jamie and Max. So have fun with Full Speed. We're going to sign off now and get back to creating more romantic adventures between Jamie Swift and Max Holt. Enjoy and happy reading! Janet and Charlotte

I'm hooked on the Stephanie Plum series, and this isn't nearly as good. Found a couple of things that just seemed impossible and were not explained. I won't be reading any more of this series. I couldn't feel any empathy for the characters.
