This is Kenyon's best by far. It is rare that a romance evokes such emotion in me, but this one had me laughing, crying, and rejoicing with the characters all within the span of a few pages. Wulf is amazing, and Cassandra is grace personified. Every paranormal romance fan needs to read this one!

Got to read it...ANY of the Dark-Hunter books ROCK! Plots are so good...you are begging for more! Detailed situations, awesome characters, lots of chemistry. Even if this isn't your usual type of book...give it a try!!!

Loved this book. Once again Kenyon makes us laugh when these big strong powerful good looking intimating characters of hers interact with each other like little kids fighting over a beloved toy. Worth the read.

A Dark-Hunter novel. The story of Wulf Tryggvasen. No one remembers Wulf 5 minutes after he has left their presence, except for those of his bloodline, other Dark-Hunters, gods and demi-gods....until he rescues Cassandra Peters. Half human and half Appolite, Cassandra is being hunted by the son of Apollo who believes her death will free the curse which banishes all Daimons to the darkness. Of course her death will also mean the destruction of the sun, the earth and all who live there. Now it's Wulf's job to protect a woman of the race he has been hunting all his life.

The characters in this book are very interesting, very likeable, and very funny. Wulf is my favorite "Dark Hunter", at least so far, and I was delighted with the character of Cassandra. Chris, the only one who can remember Wulf for more than five minutes, beside the other Dark Hunters, before Cassandra come into Wulf's live is so sarcastically funny, and provides much comic relief during the darker story times.

While I have enjoyed reading the previous Dark Hunter books by Kenyon, this one has made me a real fan!

This book was fantastic and kept with the story line. Wulf and Cassandra are truly love-story material. This book kept me on my seat and I couldn't put it down until I was done. Each book in the series provides bits and pieces of the overall Archeron saga and want you to keep reading the series to find out more. I definitely can't wait to read the next books.

Supernatural Romance. Wulf is an immortal Viking Dark Hunter with a problem. No mortal can remember him five minutes after he leaves their presence. Cassandra is from the race that Wulf kills, but now he must protect her. And he wants to.

Kenyon has created a very complicated mythology as the basis of her Dark Hunter books and I found it confusing. Maybe those who have read more books understand it, but for me it got in the way of the story. Still this book has a lot of action and strong passions, and things really keep moving.

This one wasn't too bad. I like the main characters, there was some drama, and some threatening tears and such, met some new characters as well. It was good and funny as well.

I, unlike everyone else, just couldn't get "into" this particular book until I was more than half way through it! It just didn't catch me the way the others have! It was great learning more about the Daimons and Appolites and in the end Wulf's story was great, but for me it was very slow going!

This is the fifth installment in the Dark-Hunter series. It is neither the worst nor the best. It follows the story of Wulf, a Dark-Hunter sworn to protect the human world from soul-sucking Daimons. Wulf has a curse upon him, that no human not of his bloodline can remember him. This fact apparently makes him feel quite lonely. Then he meets Cassandra, and discovers that she can remember him. Their attraction to one another is complicated by the fact that their species are natural enemies, and that forces beyond their control have been working to push them together against their will.

This book was very enjoyable at some parts, boring at others. Just when I thought I was ready to give up on it, something would grab my attention and make me laugh or cry. I can't say either main character was all that remarkable. Cassandra was honestly quite two-dimensional. Wulf was a bit more developed but unfortunately still predictable. Overall, I think if you're a fan of the Dark-Hunter series you'll enjoy this book.

This is teh Story of Wulf, the viking warrior that no one can seem to remember once he leaves their presence. And it is teh story of Cassandra, a 26-year-old who only has 8 months to live but holds the fate of the world in her hands.

Amazon review: Wulf Tryggvason is sexy, dangerous and well over six feet tall. He also has a chip on his shoulder because no one, except his blood relatives and fellow Dark-Hunters, can remember him after he leaves a room due to an ancient curse. Then he meets 26-year-old Cassandra Peters, the one woman who can remember him. Unfortunately, she comes with a "short expiration date." Not only is she destined to die on her 27th birthday, but she holds the fate of the world in her hands. The last of her bloodline, Cassandra must have a child before her birthday or the world will descend into darkness. Even those who buy into this premise will find the tidy denouement hard to swallow, but Kenyon is a master at creating spunky characterizations and cinematic action scenes spiced with wry humor. Though she has a tendency to overwrite, especially when it comes to loves scenes ("She moaned at the rich sensation of having all of his lush power lying over her"), this book is an entertaining thrill ride.

Excellent! It started out simple enough. One night I went to save a woman in trouble. The next thing I knew, the doorway to hell had opened and out stepped Daimons-vampires the likes of which I'd never seen before.
