Excellent book, read for Sonlight homeschool curriculum. Mr Popper is read in most schools elementary for its literary style and 1-3rd grade reading level.

My children really enjoyed Mr Popper and all the silly penguins
This was one of my favorite books growing up, plan on reading it to my son when he gets a little older.
Abeloved children's book which i loved too! a gentle family trying to make ends meet and along comes an additional 12 penguins!!!
