Book Reviews of The Big Bad Wolf (Alex Cross, Bk 9)

James Patterson can keep us turning pages, but don't expect a satisfying conclusion from this book. Instead, imagine turning to the last page and finding "TO BE CONTINUED" in all caps. Although the last page doesn't read that way, it might as well. This is clearly the first in a series of at least one additional book that will feature Patterson's latest antagonist, a particularly nasty Russian Mafia boss who calls himself "the Wolf."

Another good one which is the second of a trio featuring a villian who appears again in the third of the series. Read "Pop Goes the Weasel" first, then this one, and then "London Bridges".

I was very disappointed in this book. There was no building of suspense and all the characters lacked personality.

Nothing better than curling up with Alex Cross and trying to figure out what is going to happen next. You know it's coming, but you don't know when, where, or how! This one is no different. Great author, just keep 'em coming!

This is another great book by James Patterson. I love the Alex Cross series and can't wait to get to the the next book.

Could not put the book down.

I enjoyed the book. It ended with plenty of room for a sequel.

I loved this book it kept me on the edge, until the end it was not what i expected and i was disappointed.

An Alex Cross FBI thriller. I've enjoyed all Patterson's books involving Alex Cross. Fast moving. I read the book in two days.

Edge-of-your-seat thriller! It's all about trying to capture a Russian mobster. Fantastic and goes so fast that you don't want it to end!

Good read

Couldn't put it down!

The book is incredibly exciting from beginning to end taking you from Alex Cross's newness in the FBI to his personal strifes at home. I love Patterson's book, but this one I read in 2 days because I just couldn't put it down.

Great continuation of the Alex Cross series.
