Donna E. (An English veterinarian recalls his early days as a vet. Funny, heart-warming, good study of both animals and people. Is actually part of a bigger book, All Creatures Great and Small.
With the fourth of this superb series, James Herriot again takes us onhis varied and often hair-raising journeys to still more joyous adventures in the Yorkshire Dales. Herriot provokes either a chuckle or a lump in your throat in every chapter.
Older version--different picture on cover--but same contents. Cover has "Please Return" and two initials written on it in red. A few wrinkles in one corner of the cover as well.
