This is not my favorite Kellerman book. It seemed to be rather slow moving and was about a "cold" case 20 years old.

An Alex Delaware mystery.

good read, fast paced. i really enjoyed the way that the story unfolded and the clues fell out. there were a few good twists, as always.

Slow starting, but a great middle and finish. Exciting stuff.

This was the first Kellerman I came across and was extremely impressed by it. Unlike his wife, Faye, Jonathan Kellerman writes from a very dark place, and it pays off, especially against the glitz of LA.

Alex Delaware has received a book that opens up a lot of wounds for his cop friend Milo. They set to work unravelling a decades-old murder... only it's not quite so simple. But then again, is it ever?

I love Jonathan Kellerman. His psychological analysis of his characters is most thought provoking.

This was a great read.

Alex Delaware is the kind of guy that you'd like to have as a friend.

Another great Alex Delaware novel. This one gives a lot of insight into the character of Milo Sturgis. I really enjoyed this one.

I could not put this book down. It was constantly making me think one person was responsible and then showed me i was soo wrong. excellent read.

The book is an easy read. Typical Kellerman.

Another great book by Kellerman. I like this type of Series that always features the same main character... in this case Alex Delaware. I am now enjoying my third book by this author.

The Alex Delaware novels are great to read. Pick one up and you'll be hooked no matter where you start with them. Jonathan Kellerman knows how to write a good whodunit that will make you want to know whodunit.

solid plot. revenge and justice make for really good reading. one of his best.

Good fast reading

Murder mysteries with lots of twists. I never read this author before but I am going to read his stuff from now on!

another great book in the Delaware series

I usually like Kellerman, but I had a hard time staying interested in this book. It had a lot of slow spots, then it picked up the pace for a while. While the storyline is pretty good, he used too many pages describing in laborious detail, the scenery, down to the names of each street Dr. Alex and Milo traveled (and they traveled a lot!). I'm a fast reader and when I get bogged down with unrelated details, I forget some of the important things.

It's been a while since I read this book, but I do remember it to be very interesting, not the run of the mill type book.

A real good mystery

I love this book. It is one of those books that you don't want to put down. Very intense.

I love psychological thriller, Jonathqn Kellerman has done it again. A real page turner, hard to put down.Story of drugs, corruption, spoiled rich children and cover-ups .

A classic murder mystery and a story of good and evil, sacrifice and sin.

This is the best Kellerman in years.

one of the better of this type

I did not like this book at all. It was the first I've read by this author and it will probably be a while before I'll attempt another. Started out slow and never really picked up. The premise was good, but it wasn't very well fleshed out. It seemed the author concentrated more on the characters' sexual orientations than on the plot, which granted in some cases, can be important, but for this book, it really didn't make a difference in how the story carried out.

Very good book....kept me on my toes trying to figure out who the killer was.

Another great read from Kellerman.

I am sure this book is a very good one, but It was hard to get into. I was very distracted with all the detail and began to read more into everything when it was irrelivent to the story. Maybe it was because I was sick while reading it

Every Murder has a Murder book...but this one makes all the characters pay attention page by page.

Great book! Kellerman is a wonderful writer! Alex and Milo keep in wanting more and more after each book.

A 2002 and the eighteenth of many Alex Delaware mysteries by Kellerman. I read this book a couple years ago, during my Jonathan Kellerman phase, I forgot most of it.
