Book Reviews of Navy Wife (Navy, Bk 1) (Silhouette Special Edition, No 494)

For those who like Harlequin romances you will probably like this series.

However if you are Debbie Macomber fan who enjoyed her Promise Texas books,her Blossom Street series, or her Dakota books you will most likely be disappointed with this series. There is a lot of the descriptive erotica in the book without much of a story.

Debbie Macomber weaves an emotional tale of love and longing. A must read Harlequin romance.

I'm a big Macomber fan, so I enjoyed this. This is the first in the series. A quick, comfortable read.

Not the best book by Macomber. but worth the read

This is the first book in Ms. Macombers Navy series. This is a wonderfully heartwarming series. There are six books (in order): 'Navy Wife', 'Navy Blues', 'Navy Brat', 'Navy Woman', 'Navy Baby', & 'Navy Husband'.

A couple, Lindy and Rush, a naval officer try to live as roommates but when they are overcome with passion, he is called back to sea duty. How what?

Impulsive, wounded, vulnerable, Lindy Kyle was unprepared for a roommate like Rush Callaghan. Strong, sensitive and sexy, the temporarily dry-docked naval officer was everything she'd ever dreamed of in a man…in a husband.

But Rush placed duty to his country above all else. Though he and Lindy were swept away on a tide of passion, he was called back to sea. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder — but will their marriage survive their partings?

love this book, just need room on my shelves

1st in Navy Series: Enjoyable book
Lindy Kyle goes to Seattle after her boyfriend marries someone else while he is engaged to her. Her brother and his roomate are in the Navy and both will be gone. Rush's ship has problems and he returns without knowing that Lindy has been invited to stay at their apartment. Rush is hurt badly aboard ship and Lindy tells him it is the Navy or her. Rush is willing to give up his Navy career, but Lindy realizes that would be a mistake.

Very good book. Loved the series

Book 1 of Macomber's Navy series! LOVED the entire series!

Lindy goes to Seattle to stay in her brother's apartment, since he is out at sea, in the Navy. In walks his roomate, and the fireworks begin. Full of suspense, and pure love.

Pretty good book! An insight into a world that few of us know about!

A great read from Debbie Macomber. Sit by the fire and get a glimpse of navy life.

very sweet another home run in her navy series

First book in Debbie's Navy Series

This was a great romance novel,just what you expect out of Debbie Macomber. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Debbie is one of my favorite authors and I loved the "Navy" series.

This is the first of Macomber's Navy series. A really good story of longing and love. Very emotional. Highly Recomend.

I very much enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series.
