For those who like Harlequin romances you will probably like this series.

However if you are Debbie Macomber fan who enjoyed her Promise Texas books, her Blossom Street series, or her Dakota books you will most likely be disappointed with this series. There is a lot of the descriptive erotica in the book without much of a story.

This is the second book in Ms. Macombers Navy series. This is a wonderfully heartwarming series. There are six books (in order): 'Navy Wife', 'Navy Blues', 'Navy Brat', 'Navy Woman', 'Navy Baby', & 'Navy Husband'.

Despite her ex-husband's bullheadedness, Carol Kyle knew he'd be the perfect man to father the child she so desperately wanted. Yet she also realized that the strong, honorable man would never allow his child to be raised without a father .So Carol needed to plot, to plan, to maneuver, to seduce Steve into her bed for one last time.

Fast easy read. The characters experience intense emotions dealing with marriage, having babies, infidelity, and the workforce. There is also humor. I enjoyed this book.

from the back cover

despite her ex-husband' bullheadedness, carol kyle knew he'd be the perfect man to father the child she so desperately wanted. yet she also realized that the strong, honorable man would never allow his child to be raised without a father. so carol needed to plot,to plan,to maneuver, to seduce steve into her bed for one last time...

and then one more.

still, the passion when they were together was never the problem-it was the absences that tore them apart. had they grown enough to chance trying again-especially when carol's plan seemed about to work?

awesome read didn't want to put it down or see it end. 2nd book in her navy series.

The second book in the series. It focuses more on Steve, Lindy's brother and his ex-wife Carol.
