I don't remember having read this author before but I really enjoyed this book and plan to find more from this author.

I agree with another review about the heroine keeping her secret for too long but I loved the humor and surprisingly hot story anyway. Hoping her buddy Lori (the mechanic) gets a story:)

This was a cute breezy book that was surprisingly spicy. Even though I have read about a zillion books that have the "big city girl moves back to small home town and dates local cop" plot, this came across as fresh and funny, mostly due to the sassy heroine.
I wish that the heroine would have opened up to the hero sooner, and some parts of the "suspense" plot didn't ring true, but the dialog between the hero and heroine felt genuine and "current" and I was able to overlook it.

Hot, Hot, HOT - also funny. I read it in two days - would have been one day, but I had to work.
Molly has a naughty secret - she writes erotic fiction. She returns to tiny Tumble Creek after ten years in the big city and is immediately attracted to her old crush, hunky chief of police Ben Lawson. Ben would NOT be amused to find out what she does for a living, especially when she's been using him for inspiration!

I absolutely LOVED this book. I couldn't put it down. Molly, the main female character, is a RIOT and Ben is funny as all get out when trying to deal with her. This book is full of laughs, love and fun suspense. I am HOOKED on V. Dahls contemporary romance novels now and can NOT wait until the next book comes out....

I loved this book-it was such a pleasant surprise. One of my Goodread buddies gave it a good review so I thought I would check it out. The heroine is genuinely funny, the hero is everything he should be, and the book is way hot. I had not previously read this author but I immediately read the 2nd book in this series and am eagerly awaiting the 3rd when it's released in January.

This was my first book by Victoria Dahl and now I am hooked on her writing style. I absolutely could not put this book down. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the heroine kept her secret a little too long but that did not detract from the story at all. The hero was terrific and the sexy scenes were hot, hot but not overdone ...just perfect. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I am also looking for more of Ms. Dahl's other books to read. Don't miss out on this book. You will love it. I know I did.

This is the first title I've read from Victoria Dahl and I was very impressed. Just the right mix of sex and humor, both leads were likeable and funny and the story was believable, mostly. I thought the reason Molly keeps her occupation (erotic fiction author) a secret was a good, if naive, one but I never got a handle on why she was afraid of commitment and love. But Ben the Deputy is a great character and well rounded. Ms. Dahl's dialog is snappy and at times laugh out loud funny. I'm looking forward to reading the next book (about Lori Love I believe).

I usually prefer historical romances, but for Victoria Dahl, I am willing to make an exception. Everything she writes is clever and steamy, and this one is no exception. Caution: Ms. Dahl's liberal use of the "f" word and the "c" word might make some readers squirm with delight and others with disgust.

I absolutely loved this book! It was so much more than I was expecting! I thought it would be just a fun flirty romance, but it actually had a good plot and well-developed characters. I was pleasantly surprised, and I couldn't put down!

Fun. I like her contemporary books much better than her historical romances.

Fantastic read - hilarious, sexy, steamy, and these characters are both believable and lovable! I will read more of Victoria Dahl's romantic comedies!

this was a cute and funny story. like the other reviewers said, it has a few flaws, but easy enough to gloss over them and simply enjoy the story.
