I love the Bridgerton brothers; I definitely think their stories are superior to the sister's. This one is about Benedict. Probably my 3rd favorite of the series.

LOVE this series! LOVED this book. The third in the Briderton series and it just keeps getting better and better. This one followed a Cinderella type storyline. And definitely a little more hotter for a historical. LOVED it!

Sophie Beckett never dreamed she'd be able to sneak inot Lady Brdgerton's famed masquerade ball- or that "Prince Charming" would be waitng for there for her! Though the daughter of an earl, Sophie has been relgated to the role of servant by her disdainful stepmother. But now, pinning in the strong arms of the debonair and devastatingly handsome Benedict Bridgerton, she feels like royalty. Alas, she knows all enchantment must end when the clock strikes midnight.
Who was that extraordinary woman? Ever since that magical night, a radiant vishion in silver has blinded Benedict to the attractions of any other- except, perhaps, this alluring and oddly familar beasuty dressed in housemaids garb whom he feels compelled to rescue from the most disagreeable situation. He has sworn to find and wed his mystery miss, but this breathtaking maid makes him weak with wanting her, Yet, if he offers her his heart, will benedict sacrifice his only chance for a fairy tale love?
This book has a cinderella feel to it. Very good read.

Sorta like a the base of a Cinderella story with many twists until they come together in the end

will she accept the offer before the clock strikes midnight?
It was a fun read and very "Cinderella" story. Loved it! But I Haven't read or listened to a Julia Quinn novel I didn't like.

Book 3 in an 8 book series. Great series--each book about each child in this large English family. Not really necessary to read them in order.

Bridgerton series, Benedict's story..excellent
One of the bridgerton family .very good read
In this version of the "Cinderella" fairy tale, Sophie Beckett, daughter of an earl, is at the mercy of her step-relatives, who have relegated her to a servant's role in her own home. She sneaks into a famed masquerade ball, and meets the handsome Benedict Bridgerton, who makes her feel like royalty. But she knows all enchantments must end at midnight.
A great read!!

Enjoyed this Cinderella story. It is part of Julia Quinn's 8 book series about the Bridgerton Family. This one deals with the second son. I think this is one of the best in the series!

Another of Quinn's Bridgerton clan books. Well-written but not as much fun as "Romacing Mr. Bridgerton."
This was a charming Cinderella story and a lot of fun.

I know that some people just love this book (even think its the best in the entire Bridgerton series), but I did not find it engaging. I loved Benedict but I found his relationship to be odd and disconcerting. In general, I feel that the Bridgerton series books are more accurate in their depiction of society than those of many authors, but this one just stretched the possibilities too far for me. It lost its believability about half way through and thus, lost me.
All of Julia Quinn's books are funny and witty. I love them all.
Julia Quinn always delivers.
Part of the Bridgerton series - Benedict's story
Excellent reading, Julia Quinn is outstanding as usual.
Cinderella story, Julia Quinn style and a part of Bridgerton series. I wouldn't even let go of this one, if not for a duplicate copy on my bookshelf
Very good book. I love this series.
Series of 8. Have enjoyed the 6 I have read.

A retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale. Sophie Beckett is the illegitimate daughter of an earl and has fallen in love with her "Prince Charming" but midnight has struck.

A Cinderella story!
Cute story, quick enjoyable read. Nothing spectacular, but it did make me smile
Great read, with good romance and a good story behind it, part of a wonderful series
One of the Bridgerton series, featuring Benedict.
Setting: Regency England
Sensuality: 7
Miss Sophie Beckett is the illegitimate daughter of the earl of Penwood. Raised in his home, Sophie has a tolerable existence until the earl marries, when her life takes a distinct turn for the worse. Sophie's new stepmother hates her, and when the earl passes away, she relegates Sophie to the role of servant. Sophie's days are pure drudgery, until one night her fellow servants conspire to help her attend a masquerade ball.
Her life changes irrevocably when she meets handsome Benedict Bridgerton and falls head over heels in love. Benedict is equally smitten, but when the clock strikes midnight his beautiful mystery lady runs from him, leaving only her glove in his hand. He searches London for her, but she seems to have vanished. What Benedict doesn't know is that Sophie's stepmother has discovered her outing and thrown Sophie out of their London townhouse. Sophie leaves London, and it isn't until three years later that Benedict and Sophie's paths cross once again, when he saves her from the unwanted attentions of a drunken lord. Sophie recognizes Benedict immediately, but much to her dismay, he doesn't know her in her maid's dress. Soon, however, Benedict falls in love with Sophie all over again. Believing her to be a servant, he cannot conceive of a way to make her his, as she adamantly refuses to become his mistress. Both struggle with their feelings for each other, their unwillingness to compromise their principles, and the seemingly insurmountable wall separating a member of the nobility and a servant. To add to their difficulties, Sophie's vindictive stepmother discovers her presence in London and sets out to make her life even more miserable. It will take the combined force of the large Bridgerton family to help these two stubborn people realize a happy future together.
Quinn brings a fresh approach to this charming retelling of the Cinderella story, enhancing the tale with a strong Regency setting and the warmth of Benedict Bridgerton's large family. Quinn has a reputation for witty dialogue and endearing characters, and she delivers both in this delightful novel. --Lois Faye Dyer
