So far, this is the best of the Shopaholic series. I was frustrated with Becky. I really wanted to slap her silly. Her spending was outrageous. That's why it's taken me forever to get through this series. I can't handle the over-indulgence and stupidity of the main character. I guess I felt like her sister, Jess. Always the frugal one, pinching pennies wherever I can. But, unfortunately, I know people like Becky. They never realize how misguided and shallow they seem. It's always someone else's fault. With recession on the horizon, I hope these people realize the hole they've gotten themselves into and try to dig themselves out. There's time!

I actually liked this one much better than the last 2 shopaholic books. In this one, Becky is wrapping up her extended honeymoon only to find she has a half sister. She is shocked to learn that her sister is frugal and hates to shop. She wants to change her ways to impress her sister and that helped me to like Becky a lot more. I was very annoyed by her antics in Shopaholic Takes Manhattan and Shopaholic Ties the Knot because she wasn't learning anything or growing as a character for me. In this one, however, she had more depth and I liked that. Now I'm really looking forward to reading Shopaholic and Baby!

I've read this series and loved every book so far. This one was good, but not as enjoyable as the previous ones. Less shopping and more trouble making!

This is the 4th book in a series of the Shopaholic. Becky Bloomwood, America's f avorite shopaholic, is back in a hilarious, heartwarming tale of a married life, best friends, and long-lost sisters (and the perils of simply having to own an Angel handbag!). This is a very good book. I have loved the whole series. Good reading.

Super cute book for light enjoyable reading. I enjoy all of Sophie Kinsella's books.

Book four of the Shopaholic Series and just as good as the first! I was addicted (pardon the pun) to all of these books. Sophie Kinsella is an amazing author. In this book our favorite shopaholic finds out she has a sister and can't wait to take her shopping! Will her sister be just as much of a shopaholic as she is? Read the book to find out!

My favorite of the series so far - Becky meets her previously unknown half-sister, a person totally unBecky. And, of course, Becky gets herself into loads of trouble. A fun read.

Love Sophie Kinsella - she's very funny!

Midly tiresom it is very much like the first two in the series with the main caractor repeating the same mistakes that land her into downfall but some how managing to charm her way out of her troubles with out so much as an inclicling of learning from her past woes. It plays like an old record with an oddly added sister charactor who unnessacery and who never ends up being bevievable or a fit tot his story line.

The correct title of this book is Shopaholic & Sister. Another fun, quick read by Sophie Kinsella. Becky Brandon, aka Becky Bloomwood, continues to get in over her head again, and again all works out for the best in the end. If you've read any of the other Shopaholic books and liked them... you will enjoy this one too.

Cute continuation of the Shopoholic saga.

Not sure why this came up as "Shopaholic Sister", it's actually "Shopaholic and Sister". Another fun adventure with Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood).

Becky Brandon (née Bloomwood) returns with a vengeance in bestseller Kinsella's fourth Shopaholic novel. Her 10-month globe-trot with hubby Luke was a shopping spree disguised as a honeymoon—heck, Becky will walk across hot coals for an aquamarine necklace (and thereby trick her Sri Lankan yogi into thinking she's achieved enlightenment)—but the problems of the real world (sort of) surface once the happy couple lands back in London. ("Luke's penthouse has its own lift right to the front door, which is just so cool!"). Even lovely Luke's patience is supremely tried when those two truckloads of purchases show up. What's worse: Becky's best friend, Suze, has found a new best friend, and her parents have discovered another daughter. Seems Dad had a fling with a train stewardess back in the 1970s—and Jessica was the result. Becky is over the moon, picturing heart-to-heart talks, shopping excursions, sisters' nights out and so forth—so she's totally unprepared for the actual Jessica, a frugal environmentalist who (gasp!) actually hates shopping. Prattling Becky tries to charm her sis, but it doesn't seem to be working; meanwhile, Luke is preoccupied with his job, and then there's that stranger from Milan whom Becky owes for getting her that impossibly perfect Angel bag... what does he want with Luke?

Fun! Fun! Fun!

The shopaholic series is my favorite series. The way Sophie Kinsella writes I feel that Becky is calling me on the phone talking to me about all of this that has happened to her. Such a fun series and this book is no exception!

Dare I say it....this series is getting old and tired.
