I really enjoy reading about these four characters. Their lives are full of so many different emotions, and I feel like I'm on a roller coaster while I'm reading the book. I do wish I remembered a bit more of what had happened in the second book, but I do remember that one ended on a slightly down note. This one seemed much more upbeat with good things to come in the future (and already) for the girls. I wonder if there will be any more books.

A great third book! This book is set the summer before they each go off to college. It really shows how each girl had grown up. I hope the author decides to write another one because I would love to read about them in college. All around great book!

Another sweet glimpse into the lives of four young woman that I have grown to love and admire. As with the previous two books, this one just begs to be read and refuses to be put down.

I didn't think I would enjoy the first book after seeing the movie but I did, and the second one was even better!

I love this series! The third book continues to grow with the girls and I felt like I was reliving the summer before college right along with them. Brashares has does such a great job of collecting four voices and creating characters that behave like real girls would.

I was crying by the end, as I have with all 3 books in this series. It ended with such a sense of finality that I hadn't expected there to be a fourth, but once I found out, I was so excited. I eagerly look forward to what college will bring for Bee, Lena, Tibby, and Carmen. This series holds alot of meaning for me, as I regard friendship as a top priority in life. Each book is not only so moving, but there's a part of each girl that you can identify with, even when they're all such different people. Gorgeously crafted, instant classics. I will never tire of any of these books.

this is a true summer read. it's about a group of girls, their adventures and transformation over a long summer. it's told though the point of view of whomever is wearing the pants. you see their obstacles as well as triumphs.

skip the movie, read this book :)

I don't know if this is the las summer or not - but it seems like a sweet farewell.

The third book in the series details another summer together and apart for Lena, Bridget, Tibby, and Carmen - their last summer before they go to college. Beautifully and richly detailed, with special mention for Carmen and Bridget's stories in this book.

this is the third books to a wonderful series and if you've read the other books or seen the movie, and enjoyed it you'll like!!... i know i did!!

If you like the first 2 books in the series, you'll like this one. It's more of the same. A tad predictable, maybe, but good escapism with a lot of heart.

This took me longer to read than the first two but I still enjoyed it. I became really attached to the characters.
