Excellent! Adults and children alike will be enchanted by Harry and his friends as they begin their adventures at Hogwarts. This is the book that started it all. Funny and full of action and mystery, you won't want to miss this one!

At this point, it's no shock to read a positive review of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It is the beginning of the story that has won over the hearts of the world. After reading the book, it's no wonder it has been so popular. The characters are charming in just the right ways. As it was written for children, the language isn't complex which combined with the captivating story creates a quick and satisfying read.

Great Book!!! Excellent reading! Modern day classic!

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Every time I read a Harry Potter book, my mind is full of the images and storyline for days - it's a little hard to return to the real world.

We all know this one, don't we?

I read this book in my Junior year of high school. I remember how i use to say harry potter was stupid and for little children. But after my mom forced me to watch the movie, I ended up borrowing this book from a friend. I was not displeased with the storyline, and it left me intrigued. This book made me a Harry Potter fanatic. Although it's not my favorite in the series.

Creative, fresh, and something not a rehash of someone else's work. That makes this children's story worth reading from the get go. Read it aloud with your children. The memories will last a lifetime!

A fun read, even for adults!

I love all the Harry Potter books. I am posting the first one because I have the hard back as well. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is still one of my favorites. It's a very good introduction book and will introduce you to a lot of the main characters.

Absolutely love all the Harry Potter books. Can't wait for the last one to come out.

I just love this story! I love to read this this book almost as much as I love to watch the movie.

The first of a great series. Not just for kids, and MUCH better than the movies. We love going back to the first book and finding all the clues that have become clear with the newer books. Love it!

The first in the 7 book series from J.K. Rowling, about a boy named Harry Potter.

Wonderful book, unable to put it down.

Delightful tale about a young wizard going through hardships and finally realizing his "wizardness". My grandchildren and I enjoyed reading this book and talking about it. Fun!

I'm 25 and just getting into the Harry Potter series. MUCH MUCH better than the movies and if you liked the movie, you'll love the book. The only reason I'm getting rid of this one is I've gotten the series in hardback. :-) Try it, you'll be hooked!

Not to be missed!

This has to be my favorite in the Harry Potter series to date. My husband Don started reading it and then he got me hooked! I am just WILD about HARRY!!
