Another wonderful Myron Bolitar story. Man, is this guy great or what!! If Myron was real I would most certainly have a crush on him.

Intrigue, romance, suspense and humor

This was very entertaining and the ending totally caught me by surprise. The main character (Myron) is a sports agent turned detective when one of his prospective clients is murdered and a coverup is suspected. Myron is very sarcastic but funny as hell. He had me laughing out loud many times over. On the other hand, the lead detective was an asshole. A senator, a mobster and a tennis star are also involved. Great reading.

Outstanding as usual, Myron is hysterical... just can't read it fast enough, but hate for it to end!

High entertainment factor. Low believability factor. Murder mystery set at the US Open. Very likable good guys. If you like Nelson Demille or Carl Hiaasen, you'll find this to be in the same vein.

3 stars out of 5

This is an exciting thriller with some hilarious lines. One of the Myron Bolitar series.

I found Harlan Coben just last year and have read every single book he has on the market. I love his writing and the way he builds his characters. It is an absolute pleasure to read his books in order and see their progression.

originally I thought the sports aspect would be a turn-off for me, but it has so little to do with the story that it didn't bother me at all.

If you're looking for a quick, good, fun read, this is the book for you.

The Myron Bolitor series is entertaining, witty characters. This is the 2nd in the series. I did figure something out much earlier than I like but it was a good book.

If you're already a Myron Bolitar fan, this is a great one...an especially good mystery along with the usual great characters, fast pace, really fun dialogue. If you don't know Myron yet, you're in for a treat!

This is one of my favorite Myron Bolitar - sports rep/dectective novels. It is full of wit & absurdity as usual, but also has somw surprising plot twists & insight.

Another great Harlan Coben mystery, this one an early Myron Bolitar. The wise-cracking sports agent falls into a plot somewhere between Spenser and Noir -- oh, yeah, he's from New Jersey. GReat read.

My husband and I love Harlan Coben books. Fun to read, and have a twist to them.

This is my second read of a Myron Bolitar novel. Still a lot of fun to read! I intend to read the others, too. I appreciate Coben's ability to get me to laugh out loud at the dialog and the thoughts. And finding the killer of Valerie Simpson, who wanted to re-enter the tennis world. ... I'm reading a non-Bolitar Coben novel now, of which more later.

Tennis has been very good to agent Myron Bolitar. He represents two of the hottest young stars in the game. But when his female player is murdered in broad daylight at the U.S. Open and his male player becomes the prime suspect, Myron's got a whole new match to win.

I didn't become engaged in this book right away, but eventually I became completely engrossed, and I have decided to read all of Coben's other books. I recommend this highly.
