This was a real page turner--full of great characterizations and unexpected twists and turns!

An excellent thriller featuring ex-Secret Service agent Sean King. Fast paced and surprising, at times gruesome, and ultimately ... redeeming. Baldacci is a terrific author, and this was a great book.

Baldacci is endowed with the thriller gene! Very exciting ride through the careers of two discredited Secret Service agents. The pages will fly as they try to get to the cause of their ruin. Lots of red herrings to throw you off right up the exciting end. Mind boggling to figure out who the real villain is.

This book is what I expected, a quick and easy read. I've had other books by this author and others in this genre engage me more, but I enjoyed the book.
