this series by james patterson is fabulous! a group of intellegent woman helping others.

Another excellent read by James Patterson!! This one was a bit harder, as one of the Women's Murder Club books is in danger, but the plot twists and Lt Boxer's perseverance kept me reading late into the night.

James Patterson has become something of a formula writer but that's not a bad thing in the case of this series. He keeps the reader interested not only in the crime solving aspect but in the character development as well.

Love James Patterson, especially the Women's Murder Club books. They all are fast reading, and clever.

Excellent series. Can't wait to read 4, 5 and 6!

I've read several James Patterson murder mysteries and this is one of my favorites. Good book to take along on vacation.

Very good book if you can keep all the aliases straight! Very sad when they lose a member of the club.

Another awesome Womens Murder Club Mystery. The short chapters make the books awesome, and so easy to read. They books are impossible to put down the way it is. James Patterson has created a series for women about some amazing women.

I really enjoyed this book I cryed and laughed and i could not put this book down. I'm really looking forward to finding out what kind of crazy situations lindsay boxer will get herself into next.

I have to admit I have only read one other James Patterson book, it was one of the Alex Cross ones, although Patterson seems to dominate book racks everywhere, especially in airports and grocery stores. This is part of the very popular Women's Murder Club series. I found it on the freebie shelf at the campground and figured I'd give it a try. I did finish it, but it didn't do a lot for me either positive or negative. It moves along smartly, and there's some mildly interesting villains, but I didn't care much what happened to any of the characters…and there's one place where the reader really needed to be emotionally involved. I won't seek out any of the rest of these books when I have so many others I want on my reading list, but a lot of people really enjoy them â€" vive la difference! Patterson is so popular he won't miss me.

Another mystery solved by the Murder Club! It was a good read, though in my opinion, it wasn't quite as good as the first two. This book, however, will still grab your attention and keep it all the way through!

This was a good suspenseful mystery as Lindsay and her friends try to figure out who the murderer is before the next victim dies. I liked the characters and the plot and I look forward to reading the next book in the series, 4th of July.

I love this book, cant put them down

I was very surprised with this book. Somewhat disappointed with one portion of the plot, but over all a good book.

Yet another great thriller from Patterson. You must read this series.

From the start, Patterson's Women's Murder Club series (1st to Die; Second Chance) has felt like high-concept TV with a smart edge, featuring an appealing and reliable cast of four female crime busters (a cop, a prosecutor, a medical examiner, a reporter) who race along byzantine plot lines humming with blood and sex, romance and heartbreak. But Patterson is an author who will detonate readers' presumptions for the sake of story, and in the series' third installment, the prolific author, working with frequent collaborator Gross (The Jester, etc.), defies expectations in a shocking way. Readers will love him for it. San Francisco Homicide lieutenant Lindsay Boxer, who narrates most of the action, is jogging with assistant DA Jill Barnhardt when Lindsay notices two things: first, bruises on Jill's shoulder; then the explosion of a nearby townhouse, into which Lindsay rushes to save a child. With the juxtaposition of these two plotlines, Patterson jumpstarts this enjoyably convoluted tale. The townhouse, home to a greedy CEO and his family, was destroyed by members of a terrorist group calling itself "August Spies"; Lindsay's chase after the group, which commits further killings, brings her into close proximity to what promises to be a new series regular, Joe Molinari, deputy director of the Office of Homeland Security. The Women's Murder Club returns and have to figure out who is killing alot of people,and why. This is book three of the Women's Murder Club series. Very good book....really liked it....had trouble putting it down each night to go to bed.

I love this entire series...the characters are real and you really get to know them. I'm a huge James Patterson fan, you must read all of his books!!!

A lot of details but you don't get lost. Fast paced and keeps you hooked. I really enjoy the Lindsay Boxer character.

James Patterson is a good writer. This is a good series. I also would reccomend
other people to read his books. They are hard to put down. Also he writes teenage
books which are for young adults.

LOVED it!

This book in the series was especially heartwrenching when one of the club dies..but it makes the read even better because it becomes personal and I really felt for the remaining trio. A superior read.

The Women's Murder Club is at it again. This time, Lt. Lindsay Boxer and her friends, Claire Washburn of the medical examiner's office, Assistant D. A. Jill Bernhardt, and newspaper reporter Cindy Thomas, deal with a local terrorist group in San Francisco who targets big business and government, even one of them. Excellent read and another one of Patterson's page-turners.

A fun book to read, the main characters are all women. I really enjoyed this.

It is the third to the series of Andrew Gross. this one was just as exciting as the rest. I can't wait to read Maximum Ride and Honeymoon. Really enjoyed the series. Will wait for another one from him.

Great read! The 3rd in the Women's Murder Club...

Another great Patterson creation. I love the Women's Murder Club, but it takes an unfortunate loss in this book. You have to read it to find out who is in trouble.

I enjoyed this book but not as much as the others in this series. The story was great I just didn't like the ending.

Interesting mystery book. I do not care though of James Patterson's use of writing in the first person though he does a good job of it. Something I'll have to get used to since I plan on reading more of his books. Overall, a very good book.

James Patterson fans will love this story. I enjoyed this one a lot.
