Spontaneous healing in not a miracle of a lucky exception, but a fact of biology, the result of the natural healing system that each one of us is born with. This simple, but profoundly revolutionary, concept is the basis for this brilliant book. The author is one of the most skilled, articulate, and important leaders in the field of health and healing. He explains the mechanism of self-diagnosis and self-regeneration embedded in every level our biological organization, ready to become active when the need arises.

From Publishers Weekly
"At every level of biological organization, from DNA up," Weil writes, the "mechanics of self-diagnosis, self-repair and regeneration exist in us." Also included are an "Eight Week Program for Optimal Healing Power" and a guide to finding practitioners, supplies and information.
I really enjoyed the book, it confirms some of what I intuitively know and introduces me to interesting facts and idea.

Not much new here-eat lots of fruits and vegetables, stay away from trans fats, excercise regularly and your body will take care of itself. It is 10 years old, so what can you expect...Most of this is conventional wisdom nowadays.
