I'm not a King fan, but this series was great! The Green Mile represents the last walk taken by condemned prisoners. Is John Coffey a vicious murder of children, or a gentle giant wrongfully accused? Set in 1932, this story of murder, mystery and miracles is told from the point of view of a prison guard.

Truth time is approaching at Cold Mountain Penitentiary. Paul Edgecombe is taking a huge gamble, one where the stakes are high and the consequences deadly. He and his fellow guards take convicted killer John Coffey away fom Death Row in te dead of night and bring him to the bedside of a woman writhingin torment. I read the whole thing in one sitting!!

This was an okay book. It's a very short read.

Great series. All six books are a great read!

As always Stephen King keeps us with our eyes glued to the pages.

Typical Steven King. Number 5 in the series.
