2nd in series...Entertaining story of 3 sisters and their adventures solving murder...Each story is humorous with intelligent story lines and just the right amount of twists and turns in the plot...highly recommended for folks who like to follow the same characters from book to book.

The 2nd in the Blackbird Sisters Mysteries. Very well done. I enjoyed this even more than the first one. It was nice to see the characters develop further, especially the relationship between Nora & Michael.

Nora Blackbird is asked by the young police detective for help again. A young woman is found dead in the bottom of a pool with officials saying it is a suicide but Nora and the young detective know better. Meanwhile, Libby, Nora's sister, is due to have her baby any minute so Nora needs to keep tabs on her too. Some very funny parts in this book and I am loving the budding romance between Nora and Michael.

I thought this was a much better read than the first book in this series, How to Murder a Millionaire. Those sisters are a hoot! Nora solves the murder of a high society jewel thief.

I liked this book much better than the first one. It held my interest early on. The sisters are hilarious and get mixed up in so much trouble! I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Good story; good characters. A fun read. A former debutante in the Philadelpha high society, Nora Blackbird, has to make her own way in the world after her thoughtless parents decamped to South America with the entire family fortune, leaving their children only debts. Nora is trying to make it as a society reporter, but bad luck lands her with a dead body and a killer to find. Even though this book is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone mystery.

Humorous xozy series featuring three sisters who grew up in Philadelphia high society and now find themselves broke. If you like humor and high fashion with a dash of romance -- I recommend this series!

a book you just can't put down. Another death in the community has Nora Blackbird trying to help an old flame who killed her though it was originally ruled as sucide.

I picked this up along with a bunch of other books as part of my New Year's Resolution to make more time for myself. Not my cup of tea when it comes to mysteries. Too much focus on fashion and high society characters that I couldn't get into but I have other friends who love the Blackbird Sisters series of mysteries.
