Excellent first book in a new series. Funny, lots of twists, and a good read. I cannot wait for more from this author.

This is a good first novel--the plot line was certainly intriguing and I enjoyed the twists and turns, but the editing (proofreading?) could have been tighter. I'll enjoy the series but they aren't keepers for me.

For whatever reason, I found it hard to get past the first couple of pages, but when I fiannly did, I enjoyed the book. If this haapens to you, keep trying like I did, I almost gave up, but I am glad I didn't
From Fantastic Fiction.com:
"Nine lives go fast...
Legal investigator Sara Townley's not feeling too good about her recent Vegas wedding to a Navy SEAL she barely knows, and her assignment to the case of a missing cat-despite the fur ball's multimillion dollar inheritance-only confirms that her life is in the litter box.
When the Navy man comes home from active service to make good on his vows, and a rendezvous with an informant puts Sara face to face with a dead body, her personal and professional lives suddenly get serious-and she'll need a sharp survival instinct to make it out alive."

Excellent first of a series! Not much about the missing cat, but a funny book. Great read
