Libby Monroe firmly believes in the paranormal. She wants the world to know the truths behind vampires, witches, werewolves and everything else that goes bump in the night, which is why her PRIS team is researching Broken Heart, Oklahoma the current lead in her chase to find big foot. However, she doesn’t expect to find her herself staring eye to eye with some ferocious looking wolves. In an attempt to get away from them she runs to the safety of the nearest warm hard body. Well the hard part is right on, but he is certainly not warm. In fact he is so cold he is definitely not human and she may have been safer with the wolves than with this guy.

All Ralph Genessa was doing was paying respects to his late wife when this crazy woman runs up to him demanding that he pick her up and save her from the guardians. What is she crazy? The guardians would never hurt her, but the dragons flying above might. This woman is nothing but trouble but why does he feel this uncontrollable connection to her? He has his kids to think about and the last thing he needs is some woman who could out the whole vampire and paranormal community, hanging around.

Good, but not as good as book 3.

Not what I expected. The previous books have been told from the point of view of the person who has been turned into a vampire in the little town of Broken Heart, OK. This was told from an outsider (non vampire) point of view. Still loved it. Can't wait to read her next one!

This was the best one so far. The writing was smooth and the characters captivating.
