There wasn't a single bad romance cliche missed in this book. And sloppy scifi to boot. The robot was interesting. The romance was not.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It was funny, romantic, quirky, adventurous, and suspenseful. I thought Tess did a wonderful job handling all of the things thrown her way; I felt her reactions and emotions to the situations were realistic. Cohl was a great hero. Though he was stubborn at times, he really cared for Tess and wanted what was best for her. I'm looking forward to reading the others in this series.

Charming & terrifically sexy. Fun, Fast Read. Good for before bed.

excellent futuristic romance series. Loosely tied together, they don't need to be read in any order but this is the 1st in the series

Cohl Travers dropped down from outer space to pcik up Tess McKenzie so that they could save his father by finding a magical amulet.

Cohl Travers kidnaps Tess Mackenzie so she could sing a song and he would get an amulet that would free his father from kidnappers. Cohl is an alien and the amulet is hidden in a labyrinth of booby trapped tunnels on another world

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this book since I really didn't expect to.

Tess MacKenzie was a successful singer/songwriter. Then Cole Travers picked her up.

Of course, it wasn’t exactly how she was used to being “picked up.” Cohl dropped down from outer space with his robot Pitz and zapped her – so that they could save his father by acquiring a magical amulet, her said. All Tess had to do – supposedly – was sing some strange song on some ancient mystical planet they still had to find.
