This series is pretty good, I think of it as part of my "methadone" list books to read to tide me over while I'm waiting for favorites.

"Her trip back in time to 1785 Soctland was supposed to be a vacation, so why did Blythe feel that her stay at the MacKenzie castlewould be anything but?..."
A fun read with a few twists along the way.

Love Nina Bangs...just enough humor to make the characters believable. In this one, you sympathize with the vampire because of all he must endure from the irrepressible Blythe.

Her trip back in time to 1785 Scotland was supposed to be a vacation, so why did Blythe feel that her stay at the MacKenzie castle would be anything but?
So she wasn't at all suprised when the first hunk she met turned out to be Mr. Dark-Evil-and-Deadly himself, an honest to goodness vampire. His voice was a tempting slide of sin, and his body raised her temperatureway above 98.6, but when Darach whispered, "To waste a neck such as yours would be a terrible thing," she decided his pillow talk left a lot to be desired.
Dangerous? You bet. To die for? Definitely. Soul mate? Just wait and see.
If you are looking for a sexy read, this is the book for you. Very hot and steamy at times. The sex scenes will surprise and stimulate you. It's a quick and easy read for those looking for some simple fun. This is not a book for kids.
A very good vampire story. A girl takes a vacation and meets a sexy vampire.

A woman's vacation turns out to be a trip back in time to a gloomy castle in 1785 Scotland where she encounters assorted evil beings and hot romance with perhaps the most evil of them all.
On a trip back in time to 1785, Blythe meets "Mr. Dark-Evil-and-Deadly" himself, an honest to goodness vampire," and well, given the title, you can guess what ensues.

A twist on all the vampire stories out there, this includes time travel and cosmic troublemakes (who really bring lots of laughs). A great read, follow up with Night Bites.

From the back cover
Blythe Spirit
Her trip back in time to 1785 Scotland was supposed to be a vacation, so why did Blythe feel that her stay at the MacKenzie castle would be anything but? The gloomy old pile of stones had her imagination working overtime, making helpful suggestions about every bump in the night: demon, considers you yummy take-out; really ugly gargoyle, wants to sleep in your bed.
So she wasn’t at all surprised when the first hunk she met turned out to be Mr. Dark-Evil-and-Deadly himself, an honest-to-goodness vampire. His voice was a tempting slide of sin, and his body raised her temperature way above 98.6, but when Darach whispered, “To waste a neck such as yours would be a terrible thing,” she decided his pillow talk left a lot to be desired.
Dangerous? You bet. To die for? Definitely. Soul mate? Just wait and see.
Nina Bangs does wonderful vampire stories. A hunky hero, a spunky heroine, and lots of fun.
This book won't win any literary prizes, but is a very fun, entertaining, and HOT read! Take Blythe Spirit who is taking a vacation in 1785, a talking cat, and a VERY hot and sexy vampire, and the entics begin.
