Book Reviews of Night Bites (Mackenzie Vampires, Bk 2)

Well, I can't say this was my favorite vamp romance ever. I was just never pulled into the story and kept putting it down to read other things, thinking maybe I wasn't in the right mood. But I think it was more that the story never really seemed to go anywhere, and the whole "cosmic troublemakers" thing didn't work at all. So I'd have to say this one seemed a bit flat. Not really bad, just not all that exciting, either.

Not exactly what I was expecting in a vampire romance, but not bad either.

Cindy Harper was terrified of things that go 'chomp' so imagine her terror (and attraction) when she met the super-sexy vampire, Thrain Davis...one of the many strange guests staying at her bed and breakfast, the Woo Woo Inn.

Some familiar characters pop up once again in this book. Sparkle Stardust (aka Prada) and Ganymede (aka Trojan) are cosmic troublemakers who lend their own brand of comic relief to this book along with a healthy helping of trouble. The pair cause everthing from werewolf fights to Jersey Devil conjurings, and Trojan's Ben & Jerry's 'addiction' is a hoot.

Although the cover are doesn't indicate it, I like the humor in Nina Bangs books. I'm a big fan of relieving tension with humor. Great book:)

This was hard to get into. Funny in places. Yet kept going on and on and on without a point.

Another good vampire novel from Nina Bangs. This is a fun book to read.

In Night Bites, Nina Bangs picks up where she left off in Master of Ecstacy. An entertaining story with a funny, likeable heroine and all-too-tempting hero.

Vampire Romance

Bangs is delightful as are her characters and setting. Imaginative, and funny. This is a wonderfully entertaining escape from reality.

A wonderful vampire romance is the second in a series "Master of Ecstasy" is the first ..These are a must read for any paranorml lover...

Very good sequel to Master of Ecstasy! I recommend reading the first before this one so that you get the full effect of Sparkle and Ganymede!

not my type of book

Fun read

Some of the characters from Nina Bangs' Master of Ecstasy return for more mischief and mayhem. Although I didn't like this one as much as Master of Ecstasy, it is still a fun, entertaining, and funny romp with several very "hot" scenes.
