This book should get more than just 5 stars. Lots of twists and turns and dozens of surprises keep you turning the pages. I couldn't put this books down. Don't cheat by reading the last few pages. This book really does end of the last page.

This was the first book of Harlan Coben I ever read. I was very pleased. There were so many twists ant turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I completed the entire book in one day. I will definitely be reading all his other books.

WARNING: This book may cause you to lose sleep, ignore your responsibilities, and slack off at work until you finish it. "The Woods" was impossible to put down. It was one of those books that you just had to know what happens and you can't wait to find out. It really packed a punch and kept me on the edge of my seat from the first page to the last.
Harlan Coben is a phenomenal writer. His prose is very readable and easy flowing. Dialog and characterizations are excellent. This is an excellent thriller that you should take time to read. You will enjoy this book. Well worth the cost of admission. :)

Twenty years ago, four teenagers at summer camp walked into the woods at night. Two were found murdered, and the others were never seen again. Four families had their lives changed forever. Now, two decades later, their lives are about to change again.
When a dead body is found and is suspected to be one of the missing teens Paul Copeland, Essex County prosecutor and brother of the other missing teen, is dragged back to face the horror of all that his family went through. As he investigates the mystery he is also trying a rape case that will have ramifications on him as well as a number of other families affected by the presumed deaths of the missing teens. Paul will have to face some hard truths about his family, friends and one lost love who his drawn into the story.
So begins Harlan Coben's latest twist filled suspense thriller. As usual it is a page turner, with me staying up way too late to find out how Coben ties together all his loose ends and throws you one twist after another. While not as good as Tell No One and Gone for Good it was still an very and fast paced read.

I have read most, if not all, of Harlan Coben's books and have always enjoyed them. This book, in my opinon, might be one of his better ones. It is suspenseful, it has some great twists, and it will suck you in reading it until you find that it is 4 in the morning and you have finished the book in one sitting.

I liked it, but I don't think it's as satisfying as his other works. It seemed to kind of drag on at points. I think it could have been much better.

What a thrilling page turner. The twists and turns along with the suspense and humor were so exciting. The characters were wonderful and very likeable. I really enjoyed reading this book.
It was a good read overall. Had a lot of twists and turns that kept you guessing who the "bad guy" was and wondering how it would end.
This is the first time I read Mr. Coben. At first, I thought I was not going to like this book because the main character comes across as a chauvinist, but I read through and it turned out to be a very good book.

I found Harlan Coben just last year and have read every single book he has on the market. I love his writing and the way he builds his characters. It is an absolute pleasure to read his books in order and see their progression.
If you're looking for a quick, good, fun read, this is the book for you. I think this is one of his best!
