Not as detailed around the pants as the other two books. Mainly the book is about the girls solving their own problems. You even kind of forget who has the pants as they are rarely mentioned. But still a good read.

A great book to read no matter how old you are

I really like following these 4 girls. They each have such different personalities. You can't help but relate to them in some way. An enjoyable, quick read!

Another entertaining story of the sisterhood of the traveling pants. If you enjoyed the other two, read this one, you'll love it.

Yet again Ann Brashares gives us an awesome Pants book! I could not put this book down! The girls are growing up but nothing can keep them apart. Great for teens and twenties!
This is a great book in a wonderful series. I have loved all of the Girls in Pants books and was very pleased with this one as well.
Although I really enjoyed this book (not as good as the first, but liked it better than the second), I was annoyed by a few inconsistencies. I could have sworn that the author, in the first book, mentioned that the girls didn't attend the same school (except for Carmen and Lena maybe), but in this one she alludes to them attending the same graduation ceremony (if she meant they all went to watch one of the girls graduate, it wasn't made very clear). Also, the author mentioned in one of the other books how Carmen and her mother moved to the apartment when her father left in elementary school, but in this book she mentions having her nursery in that bedroom in the apartment when she was little. However, these few little things didn't take away from the book itself. The characters seem older now, perhaps not wiser in all things, but wiser in some things. Tibby's story continues to be my favorite and the character of Carmen is finally growing on me since this time she has a different story beyond getting used to dad's love life (1st book) and getting used to mom's love life (2nd book).
It's the summer before the sisterhood departs for college... their last real summer together before they head off to start their grown-up lives. It's the time when they need their Pants the most.
Another enjoyable book in Brashares' series about a group of 4 friends growing up.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this book!
A great easy read. I've read the whole series so far and am also posting the second summer also.
Excellent third novel in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! The girls enjoy their last summer together before college. I can't wait to read the fourth novel!
I loved this book. Just like the previous sisterhood books, it was a great read. I finished it in one sitting. It is an emotional rollercoaster of fun. if you loved the other sisterhood books you will this too.
The Third Summer of the Sisterhood series.

I still don't care for Carmen or her story, and Lena seemed dull and insipid. Bee's story is lively, and Tibby shows some growth. I enjoyed this book and read it within hours of buying it, but it didn't seem as strong as the first two books. I'm looking forward to the last book, "Forever in Blue," to see how they do in college.
