During one unforgettable season as a Citadel cadet, Conroy became part of a basketball team destined to fail. And yet for a military kid who grew up on the move, the Bulldogs were a sanctuary from the cold, abrasive father who dominated his life-and a crucible for becoming his own man. An extraordinary memoir!
I received this book but cannot find any othr way to record it as received
This was my first Pat Conroy book. I enjoyed it.
Pat Conroy scores again with his My Losing Season (pun intended). His autobiographical account of his senior basketball season is as haunting, charming, and alluring as his strongest fiction novels.
