Keri Arthur does it again!

I've been a fan of Arthur's since the beginning of the Riley Jensen series, but I wasn't expecting her to be an author that I'd love in other lines. This book was so good that I read it in about 5 hours. Destiny is a character worth following and I hope that there will be more stories in this line. The ending felt a little rushed after the build up throughout the rest of the book, but it didn't leave me wanting for anything but the next novel.

If you are expecting a tight plot similar to her Riley Jensen Series think again. I wanted to like this book but the plot just dragged. Couldn't quite get into it. Not a very good story at all. I wish I hadn't picked it up.

I enjoyed this book !

Only it is very much like C Feehan's books on Ghostwalkers.
Scientists do experiments, subjects try to escape the captors.
Different settings, different subjects, same premiss/inference.

Your turn, to read or not to read this book.

I really wanted to like this book. Unfortunately, it wasn't my type of book. That is not to say that it isn't well written and suspenseful - it's a good, solidly written story.

This book didn't quite fit the description released by the publisher. ...I wish the publisher's description for this book included the information that the main characters are humans who shapeshift into dragons - I wouldn't have purchased the book. I'm not a big fan of shapeshifting fantasy stories.

If you like paranormal romance with shapeshifting as a main focus, you'll like this story.

This was my first Keri Arthur book. The first chapter or two was difficult with the character's self-dialogue with her memory loss, but pretty much after page 22 I was hooked. I couldn't put it down. I can't recommend it enough!

For some reason I couldn't get through this. It's an OK plot and decent enough characters for a formula romance, but it just didn't hold my attention. Definitely not the pace of the Riley Jensen series and not as successfully balanced (ie, paranormal but anchored in realistic urban environments).

eh? It felt like it should have been two books with more detail.

I did not enjoy this book as much as I have her other books.

This was the first Keri Arthur book I have read and thorougly enjoyed it. Mystery, suspense, adventure, and dragons! Can't wait to read more of this series!

Not a bad book, very easy to follow. Definitely a romance formula, but not so much angst it's unbearable. Not much that really pulls the couple together, though. It's just "love at first sight." But the world and mythology are interesting enough for me to want to know what comes next.

Destiny Kills (Myth and Magic, Bk 1)
A story of romance and adventure with sea and air dragons. I enjoyed it.

Four stars.
