I read this aloud to my children, and they were entranced throughout the whole thing. Very good book!!
This is my all-time favorite children's book. As another reviewer mentioned, I read this aloud to my children and they fell in love with it, too. If you're a nature lover, Enright will have you entranced by her vivid descriptions. Adults, feel free to pick this one up and enjoy it even if you have no children handy. It is charming.
