I found it fascinating that the therapist-patient relationship could transcend their traditional roles. While reincarnation may not be easy for most people brought up in certain religions to accept (including me), the basic messages that underline the points that Catherine, through her many lives, brings to light are universal and left me feeling more emotionally aware and at peace. I also thought it was cool that a therapist with these credentials would go on a limb and talk about these experiences. For me, a quick and consciousness-raising read.

This is one of the most enlighting books I have ever read. I recommend it to everyone. I feel as though everyone, even if you do not read would take something from this book. The end of the book started becoming a little repeatative though.

This was a good read. I wasn't sure about the title but it opens your mind to other possibilities. I'm glad that I read it.

One of the best and most objective books on reincarnation and past lives that you'll ever read. This book spurred me into becoming a Board Certified Hypnotherapist to explore the topic further. I also attended a Brian Weiss seminar over a weekend and he's incredible. GREAT book!

This book is a favorite of mine. If you believe in past lives/reincarnation then you will find it fascinating.

LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down. It's a fascinating story of a woman who visits a doctor's office with a multitude of problems. The doctor hypnotizes her and she ends up going back into past lives. Great true story!

This book is right up there with 4 stars! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there are 219 pages,I wanted more!!

Excellent! Another foray into past lives. Not preachy, or uncomfortably new-age-y, just a very good story and a good message.

Read for yourself and decide.

A spellbinding case history substantiating the effectiveness of past-life therapy. The book will open doors from many who have never considered the validity of reincarnation.

Stories of past lives and traumas that impacted present-day lives are related by a traditional psychotherapist.

This is the first in a series of books where Brian Weiss explores the possibilities of past lives and soul mates. Thought provoking!

"This book synthesizes the psychiatrist with the mystic, the seeking of ultimate truths, and the promise of personal reincarnation. It reads like a gripping novel and is so compelling I could not put it down." (back cover)
