This book was as good as the first. This is the second book in the McKettrick Cowboys series (Kade's story). The other titles in the series, in order, are: 'High Country Bride' (Rafe), 'Secondhand Bride' (Jeb), & 'McKettrick's Choice' (Holt).

Love this series. These books are page turners. The McKettrick's never have a dull moment. You laugh, cry and cheer!

This is vol. 2 in the McKettrick Cowboys Trilogy and is the story of Kade. Vol. 1 is "High Country Bride" and tells how the race to find a bride and sire a child began. It's also Rafe's story. Vol. 3 is "Secondhand Bride" and tells about Jeb, the youngest McKettrick. Vol. 4 is "McKettrick's Choice." It's really an add-on and is the heartwarming story of the half-brother, Holt. Read them all!!

Very cute cowboy story. It's the typical love/pride conflict but well done. This is the second book in a trilogy and I will eventually read the first and third books.

Book #2 in the McKettrick Cowboys trilogy, excellent series. #1 is High Country Bride, #2 is Shotgun Bride, #3 is Secondhand Bride & there is a book that follows the trilogy, #4 McKettrick's Choice, about Holt.

A pretty little fake nun attracts a frontier marshall. It turns out she's hiding from an outlaw father and he spends a lot of time dodging five mail-order brides.

One special lady will help this cowboy lawman win his father's ranch -- and steal his heart in the bargain....

Kade McKettrick's got five mail-order brides-to-be camped out at the local hotel, all more than eager to provide him with the heir that will win him the Triple M ranch. But Kade, the newly appointed marshal, has his hands full with a troublesome outlaw gang. Why, then, is he so easily distracted by pretty "Sister Mandy" -- who most assuredly is not the nun she claims to be?

On the run from her outlaw stepfather, Mandy Sperrin hides beneath her solemn disguise, and vows to keep her wild, passionate nature from the respectable citizens of Indian Rock. Yet when the handsome marshal makes it clear that he wants her, Mandy gives in to her heated desires....

Despite the secrets that may lure them both perilously close to danger, Kade knows that proposing marriage may be the only way to keep this spirited woman by his side. But are her ties to a shadowed past more threatening -- and closer -- than Kade knows? His strong, sensual embrace may charm Mandy's wild heart -- but will she surrender to a lifetime of his deep and powerful love?

Another story about the McKettrick family. A good story about love that comes unexpectedly.

This is the 3rd book in the McKittrick Cowboys series, about the middle McKittrick son Kade. L(A fourth McKittrick son's book, McKittrick's Choice, is 4th in this trilogy!!)
Kade falls for a nun and then finds out Mandy is actually in disguise so her mean outlaw step-father won't find her. Of course he does and the tale gets quite spirited as she and Kade try to keep Mandy out of her step-fathers clutches.
Great series.

Second in the McKettrick Cowboys series. Kade has five mail order brides to be camped out at the local motel. Mandy who is running from her outlaw father arrives in town dressed as a nun. She gives up her disguise when she and Kade have a horse race, (Guess who won). She proves to be a very strong willed female.. Another brother has found his true love. Now one more brother to go and which will produce the first heir and inherit the Triple M. Have to read the seris to find out.
