This was a good book. Frustrating at times, but maybe that's good because it proves that the story was able to draw me in. Very good lead in to the Brides of the Bloodstone Trilogy.

1st in the trilogy. Very well written. Enjoyed it and could not put it down. Was very glad all three books were out and did not have to wait months to find out what happens next.
Love the way Holling writes. This looks like it is going to be a great series If the next two are as good as this one.
