Joannie N. (Again Jecks challenges the reader to explore his/her own belief system via Sir Baldwin Furnshill's and Simon Putock's ivestigation. How do superstitions and fears contribute to man's inhumanity toward man allowing humanity to justify its own shortcomings and behave in deplorable ways. Love thy neighbor is far from these characters' actions. You'll be surprised by the strangler's identity;-)
