Wow-what a read. True to the style and candor of author M. William Phelps, this book describes in vivid detail the disturbing facts of this very very sad story.
How a young girl could be completely taken in by the charm and charisma of a self centered young man to the point of aiding in the murder of her own mother? I couldn't believe this! It is just too sad and very difficult to comprehend. But it is all true. Even worse? She met him over the Internet.

I'm EXTREMELY impressed with this book! M. William Phelps has certainly written some good books, but this one is exceptionally readable.
It grabs you from the beginning, with interesting characters - and very well written. It's a sad story, but if true crime is your cup of tea - you won't go wrong with this one!!!
This was just a GREAT book! There are just the perfect amount of details without being boring. I love M. William Phelps! I recommend this book highly. It tells the story of a lovely lady who is viciously murdered by her daughter and the daughter's boyfriend. There is a lot of insight into how young girls are manipulated by scheming older boyfriends. To all those young girls out there who think their moms are being over-protective, this story shows that mothers sometimes DO know what is best. This mom had every right to want to keep her daughter away from this selfish young "man." An excellent telling of the story. Thank you, M. William Phelps!
