So helpful...especially if you get lost in the amazon... or the congo!
A great book to add to your list of unused trivia in the back of your mind, unless you unfortunately need this info, then you'll be glad you read it won't you?!?

Sometimes this book has some pretty insane situations hence the title "worst case scenario" however, I do think that there's a little information in this book that it couldn't hurt to know about should the need arise. It isn't a book that I am going to purchase at full cover price for 14.95 because it just isn't worth the price, however, it's an interesting read. Once you've read it, it's something that you're probably going to pass on to another person since it's not really that great for a second read.

Good basic information about all types of scenarios. It ranges from escaping from quicksand, landing a plane, and breaking down a door to surviving a poisonous snake attack. Can be very useful.

The "Worst Case Survival" series is hilarious, but also incredibly valuable. I've used at least one of these, and it was worth 100 times the cost of the book (in your case, FREE!)

Nice clean copy. Well illustrated. If you want to know how to fend off a shark in a shark attack, this book will tell you.

My 11 yr old son poured thru every page of this book and impressed us all with his knowledge. Who knows, maybe we WILL need to know what to do if we get stuck in quicksand!

If you are looking for a book that will entertain you, that can help you look like a genius at a party, and feel like a superhero then look no further. This is the book for you. Entertaining and witty, you can actually learn how to do the stunts you see in the movies (although you are strongly advised from doing so). You can share this knowledge with your friends, too. Just remind them it is for entertainment purposes only and not to try them.

I found this little handbook to be a great reader, and informative guide as well. If I ever get stuck in a cab with a pregnant woman I'm confident I'll be able to deliver it! As well with a situation when I need to jump from a roof into a dumpster. When I get into a situation in the book I am confident I'll be able to perform and pull through with flying colors thanks to Joshua Piven, and David Borgenicht. Although the situations in this book don't seem entirely possible, you never know. But I am glad I got it, and I plan on keeping it.

Rhis book has the word, "cool" printed on the front cover. It does not take away from the book which is in good condition and looks like new.

Hard to imagine having to use some of these - my favorite nonuseful info was on quicksand....

I bought this book as a gag gift for my exhusband once... but it turned out to be pretty interesting... there are informative tips on getting out of situations you would hopefully never find yourself in. Reading about them is hilarious, but actually considering being in them isn't.
