This is the sequel to The Return to Zion. Takes placein April 1948. Will Rachel and her fever-ravaged infant survive the Arab siege?????
The fourth book in The Zion Chronicles, A Light in Zion opens in April 1948, only six weeks before the final evacuation of the British from Israel. The dream for the rebirth of the Jewish nation now appears doomed to extinction. The British have almost totally withdrawn from any interference between the battles of the nearly unarmed jews and the arab soldiers of Haj Amin Husseini.
This is the 4th book in this 5-book series. It is a very good series for Christians and Jews and the events in this book surround the birth of the modern state of Israel.
Chronicles the life of Jews after WWII and continues through book 5 in the series their fight for statehood.
