Far from the tabloid-type books claiming to reveal the darkest secrets of witchcraft, Wiccan Mysteries is a thoughtfully organized tool for following the initiatory path on your own and exploring the mystery traditions of this ancient religion. Raven Grimassi traces the origins of rights and practices peculiar to the craft and uncovers their inner meanings to reveal how they apply to the Wiccan lifestyle.

As a religion of poetry and myth rather than dogma, Wicca is based upon myths and symbols;

As a Mystery religion, Wicca has many truths which cannot be told, but must be experienced to be understood; many of these are "open secrets", available to anyone with "eyes to see and ears to hear"; but many of them are specific to Wicca.

This book explores the inner meanings of Wiccan rites, beliefs, practices, symbols and myths -- and the Mysteries they contain and convey, in an initiate-level exploration of the inner secrets of Wiccan Spirituality --

Author had good intentions when writing this. It is a good book for looking into the Wiccan religion and culture surrounding it, but it's a very boring read.
