I love when these ladies are on Oprah but they really don't follow their own advice! Trinny (the skinny one) needs to wear a bra! Practically every picture of her was braless. I don't care if you have mosquito bites for breasts, get some support! Her nipples were jutting out, it was disturbing and distracting. Otherwise, it was an okay book. I wouldn't put too much stock into their advice because that's all it is ... advice. Wearing wide pants that go down to the ground and cover your entire foot is dangerous. Ditto with the skirts. I know, because that's how I wear them and I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on my skirt walking up or down the stairs! I do agree with some of the styles but some of it isn't practial. Like any advice book - pick and choose what's right for you!

Basic "rules" for different body types. Interesting, less useful for overweight bodies, more for average bodies with so-called problem areas. Quick read - mostly pictures.

OK...just like the TV show (the BBC version), the girls are fairly insulting. I didn't find it incredibly helpful.

Had some VERY helpful tips and insight on dressing for your body type -- no matter what that type is. Lots of pictures of what to do and what not to do, to illustrate their recommendations.

Sometimes, you don't want to tell your best friend that what she is wearing makes her look awful. Give her a copy of this book. Better yet, if you are your best friend, read it yourself!

A book of hands on advice and straight talking guidance that is all about personal style-dressing for your body shape and personality.
These ladies will tell you wnat to toss, what to buy, where to find it, and how to wear it. Because looking good has nothing to do with fashion trends and everything to do with what not to wear.

I thought this was an excellent book. Humor and lots of great pictures. An easy "read". (There's more pictures than words.)

I thought this was a pretty good book. Most of it is stuff we all ready know, but maybe don't practice on a regular basis.

This is a good book about body type and what clothes to wear and NOT to wear. No affiliation to the TLC program!

If you're into modern, tight clothes this book is helpful

Very helpful information for many body types. The book provides the same information as the BBC show, without the attention getting stunts....(I.E. They don't rip apart some soul's wardrobe, nor do they grab body parts.....)I liked that they wrapped up the information by indicating what retail brands you should look for when purchasing clothes for specific body type areas. Their suggestions were divided up into "no guilt", "slight guilt" and "guilt for days" categories.

Good book. Gives solid advice on what would look best. Breaks it down to different areas of the body and what looks best for that parts shape.
