This book was purchased for me by a family friend during a low point in my life, a friend who only glanced over the description and thought it to be an uplifting story period...not one with Christian overtones. The first half of the book is a very beautiful and uplifting story. The second half of the book would be beneficial to a Christian reader. I am thankful to have this copy to send to someone who would appreciate it.

Quick, easy, refreshing read! A modern parable.
... for my life." This book was a key resource for my wife and I in making a leap of faith to change course in our lives. I don't know that a book alone can do that if you aren't already wrestling with such issues, but for those who are, I believe this book will be very helpful.
The first half is an allegory about challenges you face when face with following a dream; it is both funny and insightful as the story unfolds. The second half is more practicial information, including biblical examples of God-given dreams and how one often needs to step out in faith.
The most poweful concept for me that was reinforced -- and unpacked -- in this book is: often God doesn't take away fear in pursuing a dream, but instead asks you to trust Him for the strength you need.
