Susannah and Trinny are great to talking about what cut of a sleeve/collar/pant/skirt might look good on a specific body type....but their own recommendations for outfits and styles are ridiculous.

These ladies really tell you how it is. This book tells you what to wear for many different occasions (and what not to wear). Everything from a first interview to school events. Also includes how much you can expect to spend at different stores for some of the different clothing items. Lots of humor throughout the book as these authors tell you what not to do.

The second book from the BBC duo of What Not To Wear covers what not to wear and what to wear for every occasion there is -- weddings, PTA meetings, etc.
