Book Reviews of The Woman with the Alabaster Jar : Mary Magdalen and the Holy Grail

I've read a number of books about Mary Magdalen and thought this would be one to add to my collection. I was turned off, however, by her use of "fictional accounts", little scenarios she creates to tell the story of what she thinks happened. I really don't care for these and therefore did not finish the book. If this type of writing does not bother you, you might enjoy this book.

"Mary Starabiard is a seeker after truth, not a defender of doctrine. She recognizes that orthodoxy is orthodox because it wona and not necessarily because it is true."

Very beautifully written, and the topic is very hot right now.
