Dear PaperBack Swap,

Thank you for the opportunity to join an organization so willing to help children. Our students here at KND Elementary School are looking forward to some new books.  We are located in northwest Michigan near Lake Michigan, in the small village of Brethren. If you were to look on a map, we are near Manistee.

Our students face many issues. However, the biggest is poverty. 80% of our students receive free or reduced lunches. In addition, we are very rural. Friends are not close by. That is why PaperBackSwap will be so beneficial. It would give our students books to read during their leisure time. However, there is also another huge advantage to this program for us. Our school is in the very early stages of implementing an initiative called MiBLSi. In short, MiBLSi focuses on controlling student behavior through reading. PaperBack Swap will definitely help us to engage our young readers!! Thanks again.
