They have officially cast the Cullen family for Twilight

No no no no and no again.  Looks like and advert for The O.C. or one of those other dreadfully acted teen shows.

I KNOW!!  I absolutely HATE that Edward!  The only one I even 'kinda' like is Rosalie..and that's only because she's meant to be pretty ditsy!

Oh wow, I finally read the underneath part and two of them were on the OC.  Bleh...I had such high hopes and they just keep getting smashed on the rocks.

Awww. How awful. They look nothing like I hoped.

eh. while i think it's cool and all that they're making it into a movie i don't have very high hopes for it. I'm just not sure if it will translate well on screen w/o coming off as corny.

but who knows. maybe it'll blow my expectations out of the water. If not, at least we all have our books to read and re-read and we can pretend the movie doesn't exist lol.

Hmmm....  I've been fine with the Edward guy, since he's got the right basics and I haven't seen him enough to know how much he can change himself into different characters, but they aren't making him pretty enough in those pics!  He's more right in his casting photos!

Dunno about the rest of the fam though....   They're supposed to be inhumanly beautiful and effortlessly fashionable and all that, but hmmmm...

I see they haven't cast Jacob Black yet -- can't wait to see him!

Edward should be "beautiful".  This guy is just good looking.  Also, Bella is as pale as Edward.  There should be a noticeable contrast, but there's not.
