Help Center - What methods of payment does PaperBackSwap accept?

Search Terms:

In the Kiosk, you can use PayPal, or your credit or debit card.  As of 5/12/2010, you can also use PBS Money to purchase anything in the Kiosk or PBS Market.

Please note that e-checks are not accepted; so your PayPal account would need to be funded by debit or credit card.  We have had too much fraud with e-checks, and had to stop accepting them in December 2007.

If you want to send in a money order/check for a Kiosk purchase by snail mail, address it to:

PaperBackSwap
3651 Peachtree Pkwy
Ste E-390
Suwanee GA 30024-6009

If you send in a check or money order by mail, please be sure to include:

  • your full name (in the form that you used to register at PBS)
  • a notation of what the payment is for (credits, Gift Certificate for Credits, PBS Money, Box-O-Books, Box-O-Books Gift Certificate, Book Journal, Book Journal Certificate, PBS Store item, etc).

You should allow 10 business days for your mail-in payment to be processed.

Currently, Market orders cannot be paid for with mail-in payments. Only online payments are acceptable for Market orders.

  • However, you can use PBS Money to purchase in the Market - to do this, first purchase PBS Money with a mail-in payment, and when the PBS Money has been credited to your account you can purchase the Market book online, choosing "Checkout with PBS Money".
