I don't recall how long I've been a PBS Member but I do recall it had to do with needing to get a book for my daughter that wasn't available through any of the library systems I'm part of and cost more than I could spend from Amazon. Fortunately I was led to PBS where a member had the book. It was as easy as passing along the books on my shelf that were waiting for someone new to own and read them. I've been hooked ever since. I've been happy to get many books I needed and to fill several requests of other members. In addition to recommending PBS to many friends, I've even recommended PBS marketplace as a place to get "Rescue Ink" in the newsletter I write for a friend's pet salon business. Well done PBS. I'm so excited to find this site! When I was a child, I took a speed reading course...and still read very quickly. It's not unusual for me to read as many as 6-7 books a week. This gets quite expensive, as you can imagine. I've belonged to as many as 5 book clubs at a time...and have for a long time frequented used books stores which trade. However, it still costs...as you are usually trading 2-3 for one and sometimes +cash. I've even tried selling my used books at online marketplaces...and of course you get only a fraction of what you paid. So this site is wonderful. I can easily see where I will save hundreds of dollars in the first year....maybe thousands. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius! Thanks!
