The writing for the most part struck me as immature. The description of each story is complete enough not to repeat here.

Georgina Gentry's Cowboy Race was somewhat shallow in it's character development. Although she included some historical events, they were treated very superficially. It ending was rather too "perfect."

Teresa Bodwell's Moonlight Whispers had a little more character development...because that was basically the whole story. But the sex was contrived...or should I say "forced?" And after that...she wants more?! Maybe...but then it ended so abruptly, from not speaking to one another, to marriage in, what, 2 pages?

I liked Lorraine Heath's Reluctant Hero the best. At least it felt like a whole story...again with the predictable happy ending. But there were a few twists and guesses...a few chuckles and touching moments, too.

If you'd like a quick read with cowboys...it's not bad. Just don't expect too much.
